You'd have to hope so, provided his toe isn't sore.

Frampton v Quigg would make for a great fight, i hope that it gets made and politics don't get in the way. Old Trafford or the Etihad Stadium are being touted as possible venue's next summer.

Failing that Leo Santa Cruz and possibly Abner Marez (if he drops back down 122 pounds) would also make for exciting opponents for either man.

Some half decent boxing this weekend.

 

Cardle v Goodings & Eggington v Vassell should be decent domestic fights on the Quigg undercard.

 

Plus Mayweather v Maidana 2 in the early hours sunday morning. Im going for a wide points win for Mayweather think the referee will be under pressure to control Maidana's tactics and I don't think Mayweather will spend as much time pinned on the ropes so his superior ability will shine through.
