Interesting fight this. I think age will tell. But then I don't think Hopkins takes the fight unless he sees something in kovalev he can exploit. Kovalev is basic, but hits like a truck.

Good fight though. Bellew is the better boxer of the two IMO, can box well behind the jab. Cleverley slightly tougher (though kovalev punched through him like a piece of wet shit roll) and a better athlete.

 

Really enjoyed the first fight, wouldn't like to call this one. Lean towards cleverley, be interested to see how the bookies have it.

 

Edit to say, Christ, those are bloody tight odds. Never seen owt like it.

I think Hopkins will old man him and win on points. It's obviously a tall order given Kovalev's power but i'm quite looking forward to seeing how it goes.
