Wasn't there a Khan PPV that didn't sell and ended up on normal Sky Sports channel?  Can see this happening here when they've got less than 10000 buys by fight night.

Worrying when what is a domestic fight is put on as ppv.

 

Looking forward to it though should be a good night - I like boxing in the echo decent views even in top tier

Khan v McCloskey got pulled from PPV if my memory serves me correctly.

I enjoyed the first Bellew v Cleverly fight, it had a lot more importance as it was a world title bout. I won't be paying PPV to see it again though, no doubt they'll overhype it massively.

The pressers have been embarrasing too.

Although his comment about him having to go back to Liverpool for the fight because he couldnt fill a phone box in Wales did make me chuckle......  More so because it also underlined how much a non-draw Bellew is but not sure he would have got this himself

Its all very funny, like a couple of pissed up lads having a footy argument.

 

Bellew, more than Clev is desperate for this payday.....its as good as his last one, he is 31, and not World Level. He wins this, he may get 1 last shot at a one of the crapper World Belts.

 

Met him a couple of times, and he is a cracking bloke, all this is a persona, big time.
