Maggie Tate
MT, Isn't there a Polish one that's about 96% This maybe? http://gawker.com/55...gest-liquor-yet That beats the highest I knew of which was the 95% Everclear. The highest I've seen for sale in the UK - and was distilled in the UK in fact - is a 91.2% absinthe which is not up to much by all accounts. There's a 65% beer out there too. Got a 66.8% bottle of whisky in my cabinet at wom - once you have wet your whistle on stronger stuff and learnt how to use water properly with it you'll never go back to ordinary 40% pish. Smiffs
We only use red for cooking with. Apparently we have some quality red in the cupboard that's expensive. Aye alreet. It goes in the lasagne and spag bol that stuff. Sooner sup Sarsaparilla

Not a liker of whisky, like sectarianism & low life expectancy rates the Scots are welcome to it. But isn't all whisky distilled a lot stronger than 40% & then watered down to that level?
