Aldi have a 2012 Chateauneuf du pape for 9.99 and a 2010 for 14.99

 

I shall report back on the cheaper of the two later, if I can be arsed.

Got 3 bottles of the dearer one yesterday - will be served on Xmas Day.

Looking for some recommendations for whites and reds at Aldi and the likes.

Had a Cabernet Sauvignon called Dead Ringer over the weekend, it's a Wirra Wirra wine and I would highly recommend it!!

The missus came home with a Parra Alta Argentinian Malbec from Tesco that was on offer. It is actually good, seems a bit better than the last malbec I had from Aldi.

and as i'm off until the 6th,it'd be extremely rude not to start on them right now.  wrapping presents now whilst sampling a fine offering of

 

Kumala     Eternal,Western Cape  Merlot Cabernet Sauignon Shiraz.  14%,not bad at £5.99.

 

loads of packing to do,so may attempt 2 bottles. whoever gets the last few presents,they'll look like they've been done by a combo of Edwards Scissorhands and that raygun with the claw hand
