July 30, 201313 yr Is that an exhaustive list? List I can still call someone an anal intruder, slitty eyes or lickalotopuss?
July 30, 201313 yr As much as we may snigger, are they seriously saying they think a number of their staff aren't aware what is and isn't acceptable in society? Deary me.
July 30, 201313 yr As much as we may snigger, are they seriously saying they think a number of their staff aren't aware what is and isn't acceptable in society? Deary me. You would like to think that would be the case. Next year it will be a don't bite people letter.
July 30, 201313 yr What if opposition fans remark; "That Downing is a fucking cheating cunt" And it's misheard?
July 30, 201313 yr What if opposition fans remark; "That Downing is a fucking cheating cunt" And it's misheard? T-shirts, minute silences and a pray4downy campaign?
July 31, 201313 yr Manchester City Council issued one years back as part of their diversity training, one of the blokes at bmbc used to wheel it out for a giggle every so often.
July 31, 201313 yr I'd actually ban the expression 'Man Up' on the grounds that it's one of those terrible American expressions that infect the English language but i'm not sure what's offensive about it.
July 31, 201313 yr I'm shocked to find out that we have just recruited one. She's made it to day 3 without throwing a sickie
July 31, 201313 yr Why do they do it ffs.....it's THAT club that does the City its mst damage . aye, but only because they're the ones that people actually notice
July 31, 201313 yr You can't say half-caste and coloured??? i know some folk don't like half-caste but I thought coloured was the polite alternative? and you can't say handicapped??
July 31, 201313 yr 'Coloured' and 'half-caste' are a big no no. The politically correct terms nowadays are 'black' and 'mixed race'. ... yet Martin Luther King referred to blacks as 'citizens of color' (sic).
July 31, 201313 yr This seems as good a place as any to air my displeasure at the incorrect use of 'racist' - for example... "Stop being racist towards Irish people..." It's impossible to be racist to Irish people unless you're abusing that bloke out of Thin Lizzy*, or are a different race yourself. * Athough I'm sure there's more Irish non-white people - that Chinese family out of Father Ted for example.
July 31, 201313 yr As much as we may snigger, are they seriously saying they think a number of their staff aren't aware what is and isn't acceptable in society? Deary me. ..whereas none of their fans are. Glad Welsh and bastard are not outlawed for the visit of Mark Hughes.
