The problem is that some of the fans made their mind up on him before he'd kicked a ball, and when he did he'd been out with injury for the best part of a year. I got the same impression from fans when Eagles signed, luckily they've taken to him for now and rightly so. He was very much missed at weekend and I hope he recovers soon. Alternatively, if Mears is on too much cash and/or wants out then I'm happy for it to go through.

However if losing part of his wages from the wage bill frees up the money to bring Dawson in then let him go and have White or maybe Spearing (played pre season there) as the cover. Seems a very strict one out one in policy, so unless Mills can be moved on then he may be the one to go.
