Been off work this week and listened to more of Talksport than normal, these incessant adverts are making my brain dribble out my ears. That fucking Vindaloo song...TRADEPOINT!, that gas advert... "and all that gas!"

 

Also Ive noticed that for a station that keeps urging listeners to phone in with their views, they must take about 1 call an hour then barely listen to it!

Premuim rate numbers, you explain to a "receptionist" what you want to say and then they just call back the odd one they want to talk to.

The reputation .com advert makes me think that brilliant estate agent used them recently.

Its bloody crap! Alan Brazil wanted callers to talk about Chelsea, I heard just one in his whole show, unless there was a deluge while I was watching Homes Under The Hammer

Alan has a mate who calls called Johnathan from Manchester, who is a knob and seems to get air time because he's from Manchester. What a guy. He gets on at least once a week. I'm bitter about getting cut off from Alan Green still you see.

Goldstein absolutely not. He's a grade A turd. Cundy is okay. Spot on about gough. Thought Warnock has been good on it recently which seems wrong to say.

 

Sadly Durham must be good at what he does as he winds me up no end.

I do enjoy saggers and collymore, obviously they disagree on a few things just to make a show of it and get the viewers backs up but thats what gets people ringing in. I think durhams 'daily arsenal' is pretty flat and pointless. They say they'll be doing that slot until arsenal win a trophy, I hope they win the league cup just so they can wrap up that crap as soon as.

Durhams show is shite. It's just like two blokes talking in a pub. Tomorrows topic will probably something along the lines of - are Swansea good enough for a top 4 finish?, or should Wayne Rooney go on strike and demand a transfer? Like the majority of his shows I turn off when bellends get dragged in and phone up.

He's a grumpy owd man; I thought you'd be kindred spirits

Durham is one of the few/only broadcasters who knows anything about football outside the Premier League. Very knowledgeable about the lower leagues in particular and a proper football supporter. It's a shame he's reduced to baiting Gough in the afternoons because he was much better when TalkSport first started.

 

'Saggers' was shit on Five Live and he's no better on TalkSport. His show seems to consist of droning on with fellow journalists about how everything was better in his day. They should just record it and play it on a loop every night. No one would be any the wiser.

 

Is Danny Kelly even on any more? Haven't heard him for ages.
