  • It's getting beyond the bloody joke now of how many goals we gift the other team.   We need to sort this fucking shite out.

  • 10/15 minutes in ream gets the ball under pressure in a place you wouldn't want to be losing it - calmly steps round the derby player   played a key pass in the build up to at least one of the goals

  • some light relief...   https://twitter.com/Derek_Smalls_/status/380100342920515584/photo/1   Half time at the Reebok tonight !! Form an orderly queue please ladies !!

some of the football in the first half was streets in front of what most in this league can do

yes, it tailed off a bit but it had to - the pace of the game was unbelievable

mentions for tierney, mills, ream and the 3 attacking midfielders, first half in particular

wes till had plenty ball in the second half but always felt we were vulnerable and bogdan made the save of the night

very, very promising

i was entertained but wouldn't be happy to see that team start at brighton which is a real shame

The odds are that it will be a different team

Tinkers must tinker

Not really. Campo managed that for a while. Hierro for a few games too.

Fair enough...maybe I should of said a bad centre half playing out of position.

If we are comparing Campo/Hiero to the likes of ream, we are up shit street.

id be suprised if we played 3 attacking players behind the striker away from home.

ngog in for beckford and pratley in for hall i reckon.

We don't get fancy tiled walls like that in the Esl smoking room!

Did anyone else spot the "BOO!" bus on the car park last night?!

Having slept on it I've come to the following conclusions..

Got to stick with that back four.  Tierney and Baptiste plenty good enough.  Mills and Wheater both have plenty of faults but I'd stick with them too as there's simply no better option.

Ream needs to stay in the role he's been given.  He's been one of the big plusses for me.  I'm not having that he's doing a job that anyone can do.  He looks calm, collected and isn't simply 'making 5 yard passes that anyone can do'.  He's a better passer of the ball than Spearing IMO.  I'd not be averse to swapping Spearing with Medo, but seeing as Spearing is now the captain he's got to be given time.

I saw enough from Chungy last night to see that he's improving and I'd stick with Hall.  The more minutes he gets on the pitch the better he'll become.

Eagles needs to stay in that position off the striker.  He's frustrating and greedy as fuck, but he is our most dangerous player.

Up top, if/when fit, I'd go with Craig Davies or Ngog.  We need someone to be constantly moving, working the defenders and be able to hold the ball up.  Beckford cannot do this.

If we carry on playing as we did last night then the results will come.

The only disappointment was we looked to have completely run out of legs and ideas in the last 20 minutes and Dougie didn't seem to address it.

What sort of nonce takes pictures of blokes arses?

He's a Down's syndrome kid seen him do that before and it's not Darren. :)

Oooh, how do I retract my +1

Feel bad now

Sure its a bloke?

Yeah... Which beast took this? String them up and format their micro SD card. You filthy swine.

Definitely better, still a long way to go though. Agree we have to keep a settled back four. Thought Spearing had his best game of the season, has to be careful of not trying to do too much. Beckford was fucked last 10/15 minutes and he would have come off for me. Onwards & upwards.

Iam not usually in kick offs but have we always has a huddle or is that down to Speaking being captain?

The food is much better now Heathcote is in. The Steak & Ale pie was superb. Bottom burps are top draw today but are being wasted on a small audience.

Yes mate, sorry it was a thinly veiled oooh look at me Iam a corporate whore comment....

Seafood pasta or S&A pie with potatoes and mixed veg....

Very good.

Saw it mentioned before but really need to be clear about this.

Eagles role last night wasnt just off the striker. Hall, lee and eagles all rotated throughout the match between left wing, right wing and attacking mid. Yes eagles appeared behind the striker at some parts but we don't want to assume that from now on eagles can play there all season.

Liking the ability to move players around and mix it up, but please freedman don't just stick eagles in attacking mid and leave him there all game.

Official gate last night was 14,260, no idea where they've plucked that number from. Either 2,000+ people with tickets didn't turn up or they're fiddling the numbers

They count all ST holders, even if they don't turn up.

Of six season ticket holders in the immediate vicinity on my row, only two were used last night (including mine). Starting to get paranoid.

Seem to remember a game against Derby at the Reebok in the premier league I think its when Stelios scored late on and there was only about 17,000 on so its not a bad crowd last night based on that crowd.

aye,

it was 4-2-3-1 as I saw it with the 3 switching about and ream and spearing sat behind them

that  should work well for us with our personnel

what's with our shooting accuracy though

1 out of 16 on target v leeds, 4 our of 22 last night

seems to me problems at both ends and not just in defence
