  • It's getting beyond the bloody joke now of how many goals we gift the other team.   We need to sort this fucking shite out.

  • 10/15 minutes in ream gets the ball under pressure in a place you wouldn't want to be losing it - calmly steps round the derby player   played a key pass in the build up to at least one of the goals

  • some light relief...   https://twitter.com/Derek_Smalls_/status/380100342920515584/photo/1   Half time at the Reebok tonight !! Form an orderly queue please ladies !!

Started to move the ball around like we were last season at times in the second half.

It's coming - slowly, but it's coming

Happy with that. Have to start somewhere. Good possession and movement. Felt that defence was not "edgy" like in previous games. Scrappy draw / win on the pink coast and we're up and running.

In DF we(I) trust

Probably at the same point everyone decided Ngog doesn't give a fuck.

It's not that Ngog doesn't try.

It's just more that if he never scores a goal in his professional career ever again, it wouldn't be a surprise.

Casing point his pathetic diving header.

My favourite bit was when Beckford fell over.

I also liked it when the referee gave Derby a free kick after one of their players fell over the ball.

And the support was a lot better especially in the 2nd half again it's a work in progress.

Turning point in the season. We'll stuff Brighton on Saturday. Beckford is fcuking shit though.

First half was defiantly better going forward the best football this season there second goal had the luck were missing second half we run out of ideas it's a start but till we can go back to basics and keep a clean sheet we won't go forward

Well that's my first game done,

Never before have I known a Bolton crowd be so content at 2-1 as if we're playing Chelsea and that's the scoreline was what we were expecting anyway, truly I was amazed

There's just a spark missing lack of fluidity from defence to attack, 2nd half was much better

Ream played well,

Defensively we seemed a yard off at times weather that's Freedmans wanting I'm not sure

I'm going to stick up for Beckford I don't think he has had 1 decent quality ball to feed off, although its clear to see you don't give him the ball with his back to goal or in the air he needs a clever dinky player to play him in, Mark Davies would be perfect or him.

Better performance. Eagles, CYL and Spearing had good games. We should have won but conceded very soft goals - and second goal looked offside - albeit from my poor view in North Stand.

Beckford was poor - cant hold the ball up, poor first touch, always tries tricky turns which NEVER come off.

Improvements in the 1st half and two great goals.

Give the opposition far too much space to pass it around us, so 2 goals conceded isn't a shock. Even so the defence looked a bit less shaky, though how we escaped that goalmouth melee in the 2nd half was amazing.

Thought we got more static as the 2nd half wore on, struggling to find someone for a forward pass. The ball bouncing off Beckford, when he didn't fall over; disappointing, but I guess he needs more game time. Need to work a lot harder as a team to make space for passes.

Lots of heart & effort from Baptists in particular. Spearing & Ream demanding the ball more. Hall tricky and should develop well. More effort generally. Bottom again but could have been a worse evening (I think).

Agree though Beckford would link up well with Mark Davies.

That's a fair shout mk.

Every ball to him was expecting him to come to the ball. But he wants to play on the shoulder and run in behind.

Lad who came tonight for the first game this year asked me when Tim Ream turned into Yaya Toure.

I wouldn't go quite that far but he looks a different player since he got moved into midfield. Well impressed with him. Good attitude and he's also pretty creative.

More hierro than yaya I think

More hierro than yaya I think

I'd settle for either!

A little bit better....but it will all start going wrong again when we lose at brighton

Entertaining game and fair result. They knock it about nicely but thought we showed more heart and determination than recent games.

Would have liked us to commit going forward though, Derby consistently threw 5 or 6 on the break, we were too laboured and ran out of options despite being the home side.

Beckford just needs a lucky break, though punting long balls to him is a waste, he needs to run onto neat passes. Lee, Eagles and Hall all prfer to come inside so we never exploit the wide areas.

Ref was shocking.

Stewards the usual bullying thugs

Enjoyable night on the whole

That statue outside would of put that puck in header in, eagles a diving greedy cunt, could of fed beckford many times second half but chose to go alone and lose possession

Chunky was shit, n'gog can fuck off, defence is slow as fuck, ream was good as was spearing, tierney did well, beckford is a waste, bogdan should of prevented the goals however the second was very very lucky the ball fell to derby in the box in the first place

Decent game to watch, derby battered us 1st half we played well 2nd. Some great moves occurring but majority the time shit long balls

Beckford is gash. I appreciate he's being starved of service but his movement is non existent. He offers us nothing in terms of an outlet.

Plus points, Chungy looked better and Ream very solid.

Going forward I'd stick with that team apart from Beckford.

Much better than Saturday, just seemed to run out of legs with 20 to go, the game needed a medo or pratley.

Pleased with spearing and ream (again) and mills played well. Like homer also said he should be banned though from passing further than a 2 yard side foot to spearing.

Hall looks promising, but I've concerns on our numbers 9 and 10. When's Craig Davies back?

I'm not convinced Hall is ready to start games yet, & I'm  not convinced that Ream is better than Medo, but i thought there were lots more pluses than minuses tonight.

Derby weren't a bad team ( their first goal was a good one but i thought their 2nd was jammy ) but I thought we shaded the game.

We're getting there .

Agree with a lot of the above, better than we have been.

Ream our motm.

Our main threats were Tierney and Baptiste which says a lot tbf.

Beckford didn't even do enough to be classed as shit. I honestly think we could've played pratley up top and done better today

Ream could be our player of the season. Been impressive
