Got to be one of the Worthington Cup early round games, cant remember the exact figure but Im sure against either Hartlepool or Gillingham it was sub 5,000 at Reebok. Not pleasant.

Was at the 1,987 Wimbledon game, and the League Cup has "League" in the title... so I'm going to claim it :blum:

Rochdale 4-1

For League matches....

The chester away in 91 and the full house on Bommy night for me

Edited by zurichwhite

Was one of the 2,902 v Darlington and at the Rochdale 4-1 above

Tranmere 93 for me

Chester away 14/9/83 in the League Cup 2nd leg. 1502. Chester fans tried to set fire to the ground.

Rochdale in the Freight Rover/Sherpa Van at Burnden

Although it was still rocking and a cauldron of noise as it always was

Who the fuck went to millwall in 84??

Hats firmly off.

Think my first wanderers match is on there

Crewe @ home 1-0 win in 86.... Road to Wembley

Who the fuck went to millwall in 84??

Hats firmly off.

I reckon I will have been there. Our chemistry teacher used to take us to all the aways.

We had a terrible end to that season. I think we won one and drew at Burnley and lost 10 of our last dozen games.

I know it was a shit time and all that, but fuck me I'd have loved to experienced fixtures like that.

Moody as fuck.

i went in 84 and 85

hardly anyone ventured in 84. bizarrely,we went in their end as did Casino's clan

85,a few more went.  Winny's coach from the Albion needed major help from Autoglass after the pub incident.

very moody place indeed

I was at the Wimbledon League Cup away game in the early 90s. I was also at the Bournemouth home game late in the 83-84 season - with 3,045 on. In later years that made me feel a bit better about missing the Darlington game - which was about a hundred below that figure. I'd missed that cos I was still too young to go on my own - and it was bommy night, which was a big deal at that age. I didn't half feel guilty the next night tho when I saw the Evening News picture of empty terracing and a headline that Delia would have been proud of.

Them crowds are fucking huge compared to the Lancs Manx Cup ones.

Pisa, Darlington in Oct 87, Chester in LC ......... must be a few more.

4-1 v Rochdale, sign on reevsey, reevsey sign on.

Quick glimpse I went to 7-8 of the lowest 10 was the Millwall game the one where Fitzpatrick made his debut? From 76 to 96 don't think I missed a game at home and did about 80% of the always so my best years watching Bolton were slap bang in the middle of the decline from 80-89 the few faces I remember from them bleak times are the likes of Undies, casino, Miami, and a good few walkden whites, who I would imagine also did the majority home and away but by god there were not many who kept the faith

I know it was a shit time and all that, but fuck me I'd have loved to experienced fixtures like that.

Old den was the moodiest place I've been did not help the situation when I think it was Dolly in retaliation for Millwall spraying GLC Millwall for some reason sprays GMC BWFC around there ground, the most frightening thing though was the final whistle went and we were held back and I kid you not not one Millwall fan left the ground, when I got back to the supporters club coach I could have cried with joy.

We played a few away games that season!!!!!!!!

Newport, what a shithole.

Never realised it was our lowest ever league attendance.

Not on for the Darlo game, Rochdale for the home game.

The 80's really were dire weren't they?

1985.

Bolton 1 Bristol City 4.

3,774.

'There's only one player trying'.

Car park protest.

We played a few away games that season!!!!!!!!

Looking at the results as well, I would say it was a relegation season also
