Blame the red wine. you know when you look up at the sky at night all you see are stars on which no on lives, and some planets on which no one lives what you're seeing there is a dot of light where billions of people live out of all this here in this pic, we have no idea what is out there, probably nothing but that pic from mars is the only dot in the sky we've ever seen where we know 100% someone lives there, and we only know that because it's us you are nothing mate fuck all just a pleb in a sea of infinity and isn't that a comforting thought Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 I still find evolution remarkable. The fact that simple gases like cyanide, hydrogen, methane can combine in certain ways, under certain conditions to form basic building blocks like amino acids, and then these bump into each other, under certain conditions to start life. And at what point did a twatting fish somehow climb onto land and think "fuck me, this is a bit of alright- breathing is a tad difficult, but at least it's dry!" What are the chances? What are the chances of Evatt changing his philosophy? Brain ache stuff. Quote

Brain ache stuff. it didn't even start off as a fish, just nothing at all (don't quote me on this) then some volcanic eruption caused a tetonic plate shift which created a vaccum of air in the ocean with plumes of energy, where molecules bumped into each other, and started evolving into something into something else into something that eventually swam around and something else that got out yeah i don't get it either it's so amazingly random and as close to impossible as you can get whilst obviously being possible Quote
