The now Munchen slaghaus was within earshot of a loud Burnden on many a cup night and was the last stop before The King Bill for many Great Lever, Lever Edge/MG and Farnworth Whites...It's heartbreaking.

 

Greyhound on Manny Road - Gone, New Cabin on Lever Street - Gone, Prince Rupert - Gone, Angler's Club on Rishton Lane - Gone, Cattle Market - Gone (was too young for the General Havelock)...

 

It's a sad state of affairs in Great Lever.

There's 3 in a cluster a few minutes walk away, but I go past them and another at least 3 before I start supping usually.

 

The H Town tradition is to start at top end and work down though.
