Hence my point about him improving compared to recent seasons, yet he's still been at fault for a number of goals this season (and I still don't rate him).

Aye. Ream is fairly quick & comfortable on the ball but is still a weak defender, & we're only getting away with most of his mistakes because he's  being protected by the rest of the defence & 2 defensive midfielders.

I like Ream he's a footballer but probably not what we need at the moment if we signed Dawson and paired him with Mills that would be the most solid and physical centre back pairing in the championship and I'd expect us to steam the second half of the season, come on Eddie get the cheque book out.

I like Ream.  Yes, he makes the odd mistake, but it is the ODD mistake.  He's calm under pressure, can bring the ball out of defence and can actually pass it.  Him and Mills complement each other very well IMO.

 

I think folk sometimes just have a downer on him because he's not 7 ft tall, doesn't plough through opposition forwards at will and doesn't put the ball in row Z at every opportunity.

ream tries to play and sometimes gets caught out - if that happens in the opposition half, we should be ok
