There seems to be good interest in a coach for this game as trains are not for going cheap,are there any of you wandererswayers who would be interested?,I know some lads are holding out for the cheap train tickets but I believe that's a no go.

As Gaarp says, it is still open but is nowhere near as good as it used to be, neither is The Axe or Rainbows. The Horns is definitely the best place now....so Garrp tells me. I wouldn't know, I've never been.

If carlsberg made bars, they would be like this. Sky sports, sagres and some great things to admire.....

Crystal Palace away last year cost me more than any of the European away trips because of this place.

Don't remember if being THAT good in there. within walking distance of my office so may give it another go

Not long back !....... I thought it was a good hard working & well organised performance, & that we had the better chances.

 

After the spineless displays under Coyle & the collapses early this season, it's good to see us ( even our loan players ) easily matching our opponents' commitment when it's a nothing match for us & they're fighting for their lives. Spearing M-O-M

 

It's slow progress but it's progress. (what happens if/when the loan players depart is a bit of a worry though )

I had Mills MOM though, he looked levels above coping with them.

People , myself included, said mid season the worrying thing with DF was that there was no sign of progress.

 

Clearly now there is, we starting to generate a real good away following, things are heading in the right direction.

 

Just enjoy Sheffield weds away, have a decent summer and we won't be a million miles away next year.

Aye, Mills was very good. My theory  (i know ) was that our midfield, especially Spearing, closed Charlton down so well that they often resorted to lumping it forward, which played into the hands ( & heads ) of Mills & Wheater who were both rock solid.
