Some miles there @DazBob

You're not wrong.  After I used to commute to Earby every day I never thought I'd go there again in my life.  Turns out I was wrong.

Driving up to Settle to sit waiting for the rain to stop will be fun.

Was in Whalley on Sunday. Be a nice away day.

Cruel.

There could be alot of travelling in 2024.

Hope the league does well.

GMCL fixtures are out. Bradshaw host Westhoughton on opening day but screw that, there are still three Saturdays of football left.

@superjohnmcginlay, what happened this weekend?

Evert Carstens beat our ones single handily.

We beat Heaton in a bowl out yesterday in the cup, which was nice.

Prem 2 is looking tight at the top just prior to the half way stage.

There are 6 or so decent teams in the division.

Decent game of cricket to be involved in yesterday at Horwich, wrong side of the result for me.

I’m too old for first team 😂

My team lost in the Ramsbottom Cup final with 3 balls remaining and them being on their last wicket.  Gutted :(

Good to meet you pal. It was a good game and good to see MW after such a long time.

Don’t think we will go up, but its been a great season.

Injuries to key players has done us.

It was a nice day for it.

Didn't deserve to lose. There was some questionable fielding positions by our captain. No boundary riders!!!

Well done on your 3 wickets 👍

I did.

2 for 18 off my 8 overs.  Not quite good enough :(

We were so close to beating the best team in the league by a mile.  Maybe next year ...

Trouble was, it was so close towards the end we couldn't afford to be giving them free singles and unfortunately they did a very good job of putting away the bad ball.  They played their powerplay towards the end very well too (meaning we could only have 2 fielders outside the ring).

Just the two wickets for me. :(

The boundary sweepers should've been out a lot earlier, well before the PP. Quite a few needless fours as no one to stop it. But the best ones are always watching.... CT was going mad 😁

But you all did well except TM, he shouldn't have been playing.....

Are Eagley still top dogs ?
