It's about Kepler, isn't it?

Clearly you've never watched Capricorn One then.  Get yourself onto Davidickeways, you might learn something :)

Are we alone ? of course. You want me to believe in UFO's , bring me one.

2 completely seperate things. Do you really think the only living things in this universe are on this planet?

He's right mind. Until we have evidence, it's just a theory. A highly probable theory mind!

Re this whole space stuff...

Who is to say NASA aren't just as corrupt as every other organisation in the world and they are spoon feeding the gullible public what they want to hear in order to make shit loads of money??

david icke, alive and well and living on generic meat

You would be very foolish to believe that we are the only planet with life in the Universe.

Edited by Danny G

It doesn't say anything in the bible about God creating other planets.

What about all the other gods though?

They may have been having a competition, bit like a world top trumps.

I'm liking that idea! :D

Far more exciting than the guff that grinning buffoon 'Prof' Cox continually makes up.

Fanciful

You would be very foolish to believe that we are only only planet with life in the Universe.

are you convinced on this?

thing is though

there's a difference between:

life-on-other-planets.jpg

and

purple-bacteria-in-space-shutterstock_11

the latter is probably more than likely, in fact, it may have even be proven already - the former is maybe probably feasible but we'll probably never know either way just because of how utterly fucking massive everything is

so for me it's really just a case of wanting to believe or not, like with god, even though he's less likely to exist

Yes there is a big difference between intelligent life and life at a micro organism level, however life is life and it could well be that we have a 4 billion year evolutionary head start on our nearest planet were life has only just begun.

aye, we could also be 4 billion years behind as well

it's not very foolish to think we're the only ones though

because as it is, so far as we know

we are

arguably everything else is fanciful

We could be looking at them now through telescopes and they might be identical to us but because they're millions of light years away by the time the images came back they'd be dead or look like sperm. Or jam ra... no maybe not here.

Maybe we are all part of somebodies dream.

what if they look like this
