How would I be made any happier by someone coming in buying Beckford off us? You think that'd bankroll us to go and buy a couple of replacement goal scorers?

I thought it was a decent effort for a friendly its blatantly obvious though that Beckford can not be first choice striker nor Craig Davies sadly we need Mason and Juke and that's probably out of our reach financially. The glowing positive for me was Mark Davies keep him at the club and fit (big if I know) and we could with the addition of juke or Mason be top 6.

Decent effort for a 1st pre-season game with lots of subs. 1st half looked a bit of a scratch team - several who probably won't be 1st choice. Beckford's penalty miss was atrocious. Better more forceful 2nd half.

 

Much better than the shambles at Hamilton in 2012 & Carlisle in 2013. IMO.

 

Glorious weather.
