Soccer Aid

Kick-off 8pm on ITV.

Usually a good game. Some cracking goals in the past.

Big Sam managing England. Mourinho managing the other team.

i've had an idea to make the professional game more entertaining.

Knowing our luck we'd end up with Darren or Fat Frank.

Mourinho subbed the sub after 2 minutes. Poor bloke had been training for two years for his big moment.

Kirsty Gallagher has just come on my screen. And so have I.

Ended up watching it and to be fair decent game, thought Ramsey did well at 48 after losing 30lb and up against a decent player in Jones.

David's is a cunt

Haha I'll never, ever tire of watching that clip.

A great clip, I love Boris I do

Great clip looks like the kid at school who's crap at sport but gives it everything. Can't fail to like him.

I think that was some random charity game rather than Soccer Aid. First Soccer Aid game was at Wembley, the rest have been at Old Trafford.

Somebody I was talking to reckoned that Dermot whateverhisname said: ''MOST of those out on the pitch have given their time freely...''

Did anyone catch that as well? The person who told me was mid an anti-charity tirade so I'm not 100 percent sure whether to believe them or not, that said, I'm still going to finger (urgh) Jaap Stam - former Munich grasping mercenary. :)

Haha - Mourinho can clearly play RB.  Worth a punt?

Re Davids, always liked him since I heard a story about him many years ago when he was at Juve.  Supposedly he was in his Porsche and got rear-ended in a typical carjacking scenario.  He reached into his glove box, put on a knuckle duster, got out of the car and knocked fuck out of 'em.

As far as i know they all give their time for free. I think the only exception was Maradona.

Its for UNICEF, so I would be surprised if any of them took a fee. They probably got travelling expenses paid, which for some of them might be a pretty penny, as they won't be travelling cattle class, but I doubt they would demand an appearance fee.

What I found odd was Kevin Bridges and Adam Richman coming on as subs, and then both going off again within 2 minutes without having touched the all, what's the point of that?!?

aye, can;t imagine that if a player did demand a fee, they'd pay it

and there wasn't anyone out there you'd be willing to give a cut to just to get them to play

That Wilkes bloke - other than play this game every couple of years, what exactly does he do?

Think he did you've been framed for a bit before Harry Hill.
