ROSSENDALEWHITE Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Stumped up more cash to keep us going apparently. BOLTON owner Eddie Davies has dug deep again to keep the Championship club afloat. The Trotters’ accounts revealed extra cash would be needed before the end of this season — despite the fact Davies has already coughed up more than £150million. Youri McAnespie Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Can I use this thread to make a polite suggestion, anyone next season using the words; ''bought'', ''should've'', ''why'', ''didn't'', ''should'', ''got'', ''Juke'','''Jutkiewicz'' - in any variation within a post, should be in receipt of a sin binning, do it twice and a ban? Like Gonzo wrote, let's not make him some lost saviour of the club, who gets progressively and retrospectively better a la Dawson. Like Traf wrote, we move on... Quote

Guest Blixa Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 In other news, Man City being kept afloat after owner puts money in. Chelsea kept afloat because...etc etc. Nothing to see here. Quote
Carlos Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Cash flow though. Man City, Chelsea have massive amounts of money coming in plus assets. We have fuck all, primarily because we are a small club from a small town with a small following. Boooo. Quote

birch-chorley Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 I thinking signing Dawson would have got us up last season, you only have to look at our form with him in the team the season before!! Sometimes it's not about the cost of signing them, it's the cost of not signing them. Dougie got that one badly wrong Quote

Latham8WFC Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Taken directly from the paper: .....Phil Gartside said "The funding requirement has been met" The news came as it emerged Bolton had signed over parachute payments to Barclays. Wanderers were due to receive £10.1million from the Premier League for the coming season. But just as before the 2012/13 season - which was the clubs first back in the Championship after relegation - they agreed to divert the cash to the bankers. Accounts for that season showed how much the club depends on Barclays and Davies, whose Moonshift investments company is owed more than £151million by Bolton...... Quote
