Islamic State

Why are we not bombing the fuck out of this lot with the yanks? I can understand why the Commons voted against not to get involved with the Syria thing. But this is different. If anyone needs blasting to fuck it's these cunts.

The Peppa Pig thing was actually comedy genius from our Slim Bros.

Did get shown an ISIS video at the weekend which showed truck loads of what appeared to be Muslim men (youngish) being taken into the desert, made to lie in mass graves and then all shot repeatedly. Usually one gunman walking along the line and taking head shots. Pretty sick.

Another video showed them next to some river (or sea) and basically shooting them individually in the head and then kicking them into the water.

Not sure who they were killing - random villagers or Syrian troops. But it was barbaric. And we are talking 100s possibly 1000s being executed. Sick shit.

Why would someone be showing that?

why would someone think someone wanted to see it

There must be a highly secret department of a handful of people that no-one knows what they get up to.

I think its called the SAS

I bet if you walked from pub to pub round Bolton or Leigh right now you would not have to work very hard to find blokes who would be more than happy to tell you all about when they were in the SAS :D

I know One bloke who was in it and he will never talk about it.

I worked for an old head my first time in Afghan who used to go back to the village he grew up in about once every three years, where it was pretty well known what he'd gone on to do with himself in life, and one year he was in his local and met himself.

I know One bloke who was in it and he will never talk about it.

Did he see things he doesn't want to remember?

I don't want to talk about it.

Bloke I work with says he's in the SAS. (and at various points the Marines, a Sniper, close protection etc) I didnt know people like this actually existed outside of Phoenix Nights before I started here

He had a week off once without permission, told manager he'd been on a secret mission!

Wasn't Bruce Willis int SAS?

I thought the SBS were the real deal.

Like 'Ard Paddy Ashdown.

And he is still in a job?

Perhaps he is a sleeper agent.

Every man and his dog that has been in anything above the cub scouts likes to give it the super army soldier bollocks over here...... Saw one Walter Mitty get bounced round a pub the other week by an ex tank regiment mate of mine after he was giving it large about his military experience. The straw that broke the camel's back was when he was asked to name the regiment he supposedly served in in Northern Ireland, his response.... "Ï can't tell you, it was a special one based in Belfast"........ In about five seconds it was apparent that the tank regiment must have taught better close hand combat skills than his "special" regiment ever did...........!

I know One bloke who was in it and he will never talk about it.

Makes you wonder how you'd know he was ever in the SAS if he told nobody.

I believe they tell you where they are stationed and you can infer it from that.

Correct, but the large majority are support staff. Medics, logistics, comms, intelligence wizards who are good looking and from Leigh for instance. Plus there are two regiments based at Hereford. I would guess it takes fifteen to twenty people to maintain one SAS headcase on the ground.

In the early days of his time in office, apparently, Tony Blair was asked how many people he thought were in the SAS. He said 40,000. And they wonder why the left lacks credibility on defence issues...
