Ani Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 http://billmcmurdo.wordpress.com/2012/11/12/steady-as-she-goes/ Right a Rangers site acknowledges he wore a poopy, so whatever beef people have with him, that one is false. Quote
magic legs Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 I can understand Ani's concerns but every appointment carries a fair chunk of risk that it won't work out. Its an imaginative and exciting appointment by the club. Onwards and upwards. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 The first thing he needs to do is get rid of this "Backing off " bullshit. and get back to getting in teams faces. "Get into 'Em" Oh I think Lennon won't be having any of that bollocks that's how he was as a player. Quote
Casino Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 another upside, maybe we can get some celtic fans down for our games create a decent atmosphere Quote

I'd checked that and found it was a lie before I gave him my support, other stuff I read as I looked at his background was disgraceful half truths non truths and found guilty by some because of his brothers connections and because he was born on the catholic side of the divide a witch hunt springs to mind. His biggest mistake was going to Glasgow If he had played and managed down here all his life no one would have batted an eyelid. Edited October 12, 2014 by Mounts Kipper Quote

hughmungus Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Qualifying for the last 16 of the Champions League is. Take a look at their current league position.Your proving my point more and more but looks like we are stuck with him now so can we expect last 16 of champions league soon then.He is a totally untested quantity at this level and a chance we can't really take but pay peanuts etc. Quote
Casino Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 lets just note hugh wanted phil brown as manager Quote

Spider Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Still do I guarantee you'd have found a reason to moan had Brown been given the job It's just what you do Quote
Casino Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Still do the point being, you suggest we've gone for a cheap option and, brown has managed twice in the championship been sacked once and won promotion once Quote
hughmungus Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 I guarantee you'd have found a reason to moan had Brown been given the job It's just what you do Was right about Freedman though Quote
COYW Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 I wouldn't have thought that Lennon was a cheap option. Quote
Carlos Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Was right about Freedman though Have a gold star. Only person who's happy about the current situation, only post when we are doing shit. Quote
RONNIE PHILLIPS Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Press the ignore button people, it really ain't worth it. Quote
Spider Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Was right about Freedman though  What a wanker given that there are less than 10 trophies to be won across all 4 English divisions, I could probably go on 70+ different clubs forums and say the manager will be a shit underachiever. That wouldn't make me some sort of mystic genius, it would mean I'm playing the easy odds and being an objectionable cunt because I have mangled genitals and a shit life. You miss the point by a distance that can only be measured in light years. Quote
mourinho Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 lets just note hugh wanted phil brown as managerArrogant. FWIW I also wanted Brown, for many reasons that go beyond the stock answer of championship promotion. However, this is a good appointment. The only trick missed being bringing Thommo as part of the management set up. That would galvanise even the most sceptical Quote
Casino Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 arrogant? look, you clown, he suggested lennon was the cheap option and questions his previous he wanted brown brown would be cheaper than lennon and his support staff brown has a hit and a miss in our league and thomson, gtf Quote
Carlos Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Thompson is laughable, based on what????? Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 (edited) Lennon won't be a cheap option I think it's a calculated but expensive gamble I'm gutted for the lads who feel they can't back him because of his past. I've look at what he suppose to stand for and I don't see any concrete evidence to support most of the stuff that he's accused of. So I'm not even thinking about that any more I'm looking forward and I'm looking forward to the next match and BWFC beginning to be disliked for the right things and that's winning games I'm genuinely excited.
