Looks like local rags have picked up on the SPZL hype, not seen this since GT Manchester came out.

Ended up having a chat with GA a few months ago. A more decent, down to earth and genuine bloke you’d struggle to meet! He was saying just how difficult it was to convince the German bigwigs that there was a market for this Spzl range, how it’s an insignificance to them in their global stature. It was only his passion and persistence in acknowledging the importance of the UK casual scene that made it go ahead. Having got the go ahead he was saying how much grief he gets and how he can’t win. If they release too many he’s attacked for flooding the market, diluting the scene and profiteering...release a limited edition and he’s attacked for encouraging lads to profiteer. Got the impression that it’s gonna come to an end pretty soon. 

Some great photos coming out of this SPZL exhibition. Oslo reissue looking good, Malmö so-so, love the colourway on OG Malmö and the retro design on the name but sole isn't quite right

I've heard a few suggesting there might not be much more from the SPZL range. It has been hit and miss for me, from absolute brilliance with some of the clothes and footwear to real bobbins.

I don't suppose you talked to him about the Buenos Aires stuff that seemed to kick all this off did you? I've never been sure just how genuine all that was.

It was better laid out than what was basically the same thing in Manc in 2014. There were more of the big hitters, generations of Stockholm, Dubs etc. lined up. Jap Athen being within touching distance of the appalling last version of Athen. The stars of the show still the Wien from 1979, the Austrian Brussel which are stunning and an old pair of orange striped Bamba. Got one of the last t-shirts and a Hanon tote bag which are on ebay for £30.

Worth a visit, on until 20th. All free, parked basically outside for a quid.

Everyone get fixed up with what they wanted today? I think I've landed some via Consortium but never feel truly sure until they actually arrive at my door.

I was only really into the SL80’s and got sorted via End.

Think this release was one of the worst to date. Clothing this time around is biz, not to mention the fucking Blackburn’s!!!

I was trying with them last night, had no luck and couldn't try this morning at 9am because I was on a plane.  I dont like being 'shut out' of a chance of getting nice trainers.  Aree any of you lot over 3000 - 9000 points on the adidas site and got what you wanted hassle free?
