He must be scratching his head as to how we've ended up with so many central midfielders yet we don't have a decent, experienced, left footed player who can play naturally at left midfield or left wing.

And I'm wondering why if lee and hall can both play wide left, clayton was signed to play left hand side, it's kellets natural side and yet pratley gets the gig

You're not wrong and it won't surprise me to see M. Davies play there at some point in the near future.

 

We can only hypothesise so early on into his tenure, but it looks as though Lennon feels Kellet and Hall are too inexperienced or not quite up to his expected standards yet, he's liking Chungy in this central role and Pratley gets the nod presumably on work rate, experience and attitude. It's an area he's said he'd like to strengthen and I can see why.

Oh aye there's plenty of options all right, but like you said earlier it's quality not quantity. My original statement still stands; a decent, experienced, left footed player who can play naturally at left midfield or left wing is something we haven't got.

Yes he's coming across fantastically well. Really looking forward to tomorrow and regardless of where the gaps are in quality across the pitch, he's working with what he's got in the squad and he's confident they can get us out of the bottom 3 so that will do for me.
