I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Celtic are the footballing equivalent of cold puke. A set of fans who plumb the depths. Every bit as bad as United ... and Chelsea for that matter. Not much time for City but I would prefer them to win this than Chelsea

A shame Semenyo is Ghanaian really, would have been great as part of that front 3 playing off Kane

Imagine him and Olise either side

FA Cup Man of the Match ... the Referee.

Never once fooled by Chelsea's flopping about.

Special congratulations to the King's XI, Sevco FC for managing to finish third in this traditional two-horse race.

Indeed, the only good thing, is those benders who pretend to like Rangers (for the high quality of football they play) will be annoyed

Think George Clooney, but more gammony

Apparently play off final tickets have gone on sale to Southampton fans

Huge clusterfuck if they get kicked out as they will want to appeal

EFL say they have a contingency date of the following Tuesday if it can't be played

Queue loads of pissed off Hull fans

It's going to be a fine and points deduction for next season to avoid an absolute mess

Then Southampton get promoted them get the points deduction when they get relegated

Always liked Southampton had a great team in the early 80s and the epitome of a small town club punching above just about the time before it became a closed shop.

Small town club?

It's the same size as bolton population wise (give or take).

Yeah,,,, and what would they say about us,????

And Southampton

Are we 'bigger' than Southampton?

Not much in it I'd say...

Probably bigger history us.

There are 76 cities in the UK.

By population Bolton would be 14th. Southampton is currently 22nd with around 60k less.

I thought Celtics first goal today was ball to arm, I didn't see any clear intent by the defending player to handle it.

Anyway it’s a Micky Mouse league; none would do well in the English National League.

Fuck them

Heartbroken for Hearts today - genuinely.

I didn't expect to feel as gloomy as I did after the game as they've never been a team I've shown much interest in. But it was a footballing fairy tale and would have been ace for Scottish football. It swept me up.

However, seeing the meltdowns on here from the Rangers loving BWFC brigade has put a smile back on my face. Thanks chaps. Bit of Karma for turning up to Hibs pre season & giving it all your sectarian shite.

Celtic are a proper club, with a rich history and a passionate fanbase. They know how to get over the line. As with Rangers, they have plenty of muppets in their fanbase.

Hearts had it in their hands today, no corruption involved, just poor game management. You're one up with a few minutes left to half time. Just get to half time and don't do anything daft. It was clear and obvious according to the current rules, ref gave it and VAR backed it up.

The penalty on Wednesday was a disgrace. Everything that's wrong with VAR, not a conspiracy. You see daft shit like that given in the PL on VAR as well. Get fucking rid of the thing please. And let's organise fan boycotts to raise the issue.

Not watched a PL game in a while - totally immersed in this title race. FA cup final sounded dreary as fuck.

Love live the 'pub league' and fuck VAR

night all. see you at Wembley

It still seems dodgy for Celtic to win the title after that handball midweek.

Guess you just have to accept that in non-league standard football

I've spent a couple of years in Soton and really enjoyed the place.

The north side is as quiet classy, obvs there is some very rough areas but on the whole, nize plaze.

Southampton is miles bigger than Bolton isn't it?

Nah

who cares

it’s the passion that wins

How are Preston and Salford cities but Bolton isn't?

Didn't Bolton go for it in the 90s and lose out Sunderland?
