This is the stuff of Carlsberg super strength! How is Middlesbrough losing a "wrong"? Whether folk think the punishment is harsh or not is one thing, but to suggest Middlesbrough were at fault in any way is bonkers. Quote

I take your point, but Hull haven't had the distraction of the rather large elephant filling the room, wondering if they'll even have a game to play. They may even feel such a distraction for an opponent helps them. Quote

They'be had, and still have, the distraction of not knowing who to prepare for Granted, they should know enough about both teams but it's very far from ideal Quote

I think they are appealing on the severity of the punishment. Might get the -4 points knocked off. Not to be a conspiracy theorist, but I also think it suits everyone involved (especially the EFL) for Southampton to admit to doing it in three games they didn't win. Oxford beat them and went down anyway, Ipswich drew and went up anyway, Boro have been put through. Imagine how much of a mess this would be if they admitted to spying on Wrexham, who they beat causing them to miss out on the playoffs. Quote
Popular Post gonzo Posted Tuesday at 19:42 Popular Post Posted Tuesday at 19:42 Folk saying all the bloke did was watch a training session.. They had full on sonar equipment listening to conversations What a bunch of fucking nobs. They deserve all they get. They could've just asked our @Zog1for his full analysis and data and saved themselves all this hassle. Quote

Still doesn't change the fact that Hull's opponents didn't know if they would be playing a game. A much bigger distraction. I'm sure every player in Southampton or Middlesbrough squads would rather have been in Hull's shoes. Quote

It doesn't really affect what they do on the training pitch I'm not sure it's even much of a distraction, let alone a "much bigger" one Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted Tuesday at 20:00 Posted Tuesday at 20:00 Can’t believe nobody has stuck a microphone in front of Matt le Tissier yet Quote
boltonboris Posted Tuesday at 20:07 Posted Tuesday at 20:07 Carragher not holding back on calling out players for cheating. Scourge on the premier league. Has been for years but even more prevalent now. Fuckin embarrassing from Caicedo and that Cucurella is the most irritating cunt in football Quote
boltonboris Posted Tuesday at 20:08 Posted Tuesday at 20:08 Zero atmosphere at this game though, considering spurs are Chelsea’s biggest rivals Quote
Marc505 Posted Tuesday at 20:26 Posted Tuesday at 20:26 Justice done. No team should ever be allowed to win a competition with a kit like that one of City's. Quote
waffer cup 07 Posted Tuesday at 20:27 Posted Tuesday at 20:27 Thank god City haven't won the league again. Quote
L/H White Posted Tuesday at 20:28 Posted Tuesday at 20:28 Could be the most open premier League ever next season Some absolute shite in that league Quote
Winchester White Posted Tuesday at 20:34 Posted Tuesday at 20:34 Bournemouth can play some good first touch football at times. Quote

Shape, transitions, presses and scour loads of data and watch loads of tape in order to prepare as much as possible for the opponent they’re playing. Hours upon hours upon hours of work on and off the training pitch will have already been done by Boro and Saints specifically for the task of facing Hull. Hull haven’t been able to specifically prepare for anyone. Of course they’ll still be training and keeping themselves sharp, but they are at a real disadvantage. Quote
