They were saying they specifically prepared for playing Oxford knowing they'd be playing 5 at the back (or was is it 4), they'd just got Craig Short as caretaker boss and weren't sure what formation he'd play.  So they made sure, then set up to play against that formation.

It would have been interesting if Oxford had gone down by the 2 points dropped that day - it would have been another load of appeals, fines and hefty compensation payments, potentially.

As so many teams qualified for Europe The Cup needs a preliminary round and 3 Northern teams qualified (and Crawley). York got unlucky.
