I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Russell Martin already working his magic again. 30 mins gone, Leicester 2-0 down to Burton, man sent off.

It's still early days, but I genuinely can't understand how he gets good gigs.

He looks the part

So, Spurs, with nearly new manager de Zerbi, to avoid yet another 17th place, spent £300m on Sandro Tonali from Newcastle United – £100m

Mateus Fernandes from West Ham United – £85m

Jan Paul van Hecke from Brighton & Hove Albion – £52m (€60m)

Plus signicant free signings

Marcos Senesi from AFC Bournemouth – Free transfer

Andrew Robertson from Liverpool FC – Free transfer

Martin Dúbravka from Burnley – Free transfer

... & lost their first match 3-0 at Brentford.

Lovely !

how very Spurs

Well, Burnley lost 3-1 at West Brom.

I have them as near as damn certs for re-promotion.

... & that's pushed us out of the Play-Off spots. Booo !

Not going well for villa. Chose to watch the city game they, looked laboured as fuck.

They really do. Rico Lewis is bobbins.

Guehi in midfield for City too.

Looks like he's got the clever cunt gene lol

Don't think there's anything more frustrating than greedy wingers.

A lot of fraud managers about now in the PL. Dark days.

I wonder if this is finally the year when Burnley fail to get an immediate promotion back to the Prem. Hope so. And hope we give them a bruise or two along the way.

Wasn't even close to being off really that winner for City

Haven't they sold anyone decent and replacing them with less quality as owners have to pay back what they borrowed to takeover?

And first glance it was

Jammy buggers managing to win that.

aye, big goal too, some new signings will be incoming also with Bouaddi deal agreed, can't see past Arsenal this season though.

Not sure. They certainly don't look right. They did get that £35m out of Everton re the court case - which won't do them any harm

I think it's all down to how the owners have financed the takeover Glazer style but Man Utd can afford the repayments

How was that a penalty- blatant dive but VAR don’t want to know as it’s Liverpool

The substitution with a minute of time added on left was madness

Looked a pen to me tbf.

Shite like.

Said that myself watching it, why do it when less than a minute left, all they'd to do was launch it down the other end and close it out. The obligatory 30 sets added on gave them that one more phase of play to defend.

That Dom Bollard goal really is something else.

He meant it as well

Yes, clear pen. Liverpool played well 2nd half, would have been a joke if Newcastle had won although they did score 2 class goals.
