I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Everton are destined to be eternally average.

At least being shit gives some excitement.

By far and away, the most boring club in English football.

Even our academy players have boring names.

Citys dominance will continue, no doubt.

If they win the FA Cup this season, they will have won 7 of the last 9 available domestic trophies.

Unreal that.

As good as City are (going forward) and that's a great stat, its also a massive failing of the other clubs not to compete better.  Liverpool arent interested in domestic cups, and the likes of Arsenal and Spurs should be better but have been managed poorly.  I feel like Big Sam or Chris Wilder at Arsenal or Spurs would have won something.  I guarantee they wouldnt be passing it around at the back like Arsenal and David Luiz would be nowhere near that defence.

City are the first team EVER to complete the domestic trebble, yet its hardly mentioned.

I can tell you from first hand experience the hierarchy at City want to win everything

Every cup, every league, every game at every level. They want it all. It’s an incredible mentality to have

Doesn't that go for every club though?, the objective of football is to win, so by default every team would want to win every game, every league and every trophy.

Not like it's realistic

In theory yeah

But not all clubs have the resources to focus on every competition at every level. They prioritise, hence why clubs use kids in cup competitions and city dont.

Their mentality is why haven’t we won that? What can we do to achieve that.

Youth players are coached to develop, city want them to win from an early age so it’s just in them to win

Very good chance they end up with 3 trophies this season, again.

Won’t be the champions league

again

Wouldn't be too sure about that, good draw in the qtrs, and with Bayern drawn to play Barca.

1 off games now too.

If they get past Madrid & probably juventus fair play to them, can’t see it myself

2-1 up, and Juve not been great this season.

Still feel that Bayern will win it, but Barca in a 1 off game is tough for them.

If Barca play like they did vs Villareal away, they can win it/have a chance, but if they play like at the weekend vs Valladolid (despite a 1-0 win and Griezmann missing from 2 yards) and most of the season, they won't, they are far too easy to get at and too inconsistent, especially away from home.

They've not had Frenkie De Jong since the restart (hasn't been spectacular, but he's better than playing Sergi Roberto in midfield) and with Messi anything is possible, but there's too many faults in the team, that even Messi's assists, goals and creativity sometimes ain't enough.

Bayern or City for me, but I wouldn't say any team left are amazing, Bayern looked very good after the break, Real Madrid are relying heavily on penalties and set pieces to win and City's defence is questionable and they too are inconsistent away from home.

As it should be.

Wish someone had told parky that. Instead of thriving on a 0-0 lead! :)

Some coaches set out to not get beat, IMO it should be to go out and win

sound like it's more about having incredible resources, than an incredible mentality

and the ones stumping up the cash, demand a return

It helps, but perhaps that's why they brought in such a positive manager; seed the mentality and create a legacy.

On a much smaller scale, we've just appointed someone, who, in his first interview has talked a far more positive game than we've had for a while.

We're skint obviously, but it's refreshing nonetheless.

Well yeah they do but so do other clubs but they don’t use their resources as well
