Marc505 Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 I've vague memories of a shootout at Reebok in the League Cup around the time Les Ferdinand was here. Spurs or Southampton maybe? Could be wrong but I'm sure it went to ET. Meanwhile, I'm hearing some bright spark has come up with the idea of having England v Turkey at Etihad on May 22. Have we played them at home since that peaceful little affair at Sunderland in 2003? Quote

Cheese Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Remember a shootout in our first season at the Reebok against Leyton Orient, possibly in the League Cup. Full time score was 4-4, and I remember there being a shit load of penalties. We won, but no idea what score. What stands out more in my memory of that game is a woman sat a couple of rows behind me got the ball smashed right into her face, which broke her glasses and bust her nose. Quote
