August 19, 20178 yr 20k tickets left for Spurs v Chelsea so it's unlikely Sure City at Maine road and Chelsea at Stamford Bridge have registered late 80k attendances in days of old Advertising Spurs vs Chelsea tickets at Lancaster Gate Station - Premium Seats at £245 each - PLUS VAT. I would want a bleeding season ticket for that price
August 19, 20178 yr 80k+ for both City and the Hun at Maine Road, and Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, as you say.
August 19, 20178 yr Without looking does anyone know where we come in highest home attendance? Quite high Without looking; 69,912 v City int cup. Year? Highest League? 53,000 or so?
August 19, 20178 yr Ninth highest domestic crowd. While Arsenal and Spurs both have highest attendances against European teams they also have had crowds of over 73000 against Sunderland. So 11th.
August 19, 20178 yr While Arsenal and Spurs both have highest attendances against European teams they also have had crowds of over 73000 against Sunderland. So 11th. correct
August 19, 20178 yr Long season but watching footy on C5 and warnock looks to be doing the business again
August 19, 20178 yr Not in huge numbers, granted, but when you see empty seats at the likes of Southampton, Stoke and Bournemouth on their opening home games of the season you know that Premier League bubble isn't as irresistible as advertised
August 20, 20178 yr Not in huge numbers, granted, but when you see empty seats at the likes of Southampton, Stoke and Bournemouth on their opening home games of the season you know that Premier League bubble isn't as irresistible as advertised Gate receipts mean next to nothing these days though, the teams that you have mentioned would probably be looking at a difference of £2m to £3m a season extra if they filled the ground every week. That's about 2% of the TV money if Johnny Evans left foot I'd expect to see these teams start to discount tickets further in order to fill grounds soon enough (similar to what West Ham have done) In fact if you strip out the ridiculous Arsenal, Chelsea etc tickets then I'd bet your paying a lot less to go on in the prem than Championship fans are paying
August 20, 20178 yr While Arsenal and Spurs both have highest attendances against European teams they also have had crowds of over 73000 against Sunderland. So 11th. Aye, I obviously didn't read the Wiki page title properly. Still, since Chelsea account for four of the ten highest gates and Everton for a further three, we definitely don't come in at number eleven either.
August 20, 20178 yr In fact if you strip out the ridiculous Arsenal, Chelsea etc tickets then I'd bet your paying a lot less to go on in the prem than Championship fans are payingMaybe. But if I was to go to Southampton v Watford in a couple of weeks, sitting in a seat similar to mine at the Macron would set me back £46 (£52 for a Cat A game). That said, away fans were paying £20 at St Mary's last season - Hull aside, I don't think there'll be too many as cheap as that for us the rest of the season.
August 20, 20178 yr Tv broadcasters won't like non full grounds. It will have a knock on affect. The bubble has to burst at some point
August 20, 20178 yr The biggest threat to the bubble bursting isn't empty seats It's folk stealing the content by sharing feeds etc The TV money will fall off the more people do this as the subscriptions reduce I know they are trying to combat this, a piece on the news the other day about the authorities turning off the internet to end users who steal it and giving hefty ten year sentences to the criminal gangs making fortunes out of sharing it. Probably fair enough, if the same criminal gang robbed the same money from a bank vault they would get a stiffer sentence Edited August 20, 20178 yr by birch-chorley

Then BWFC.
August 20, 20178 yr Mooy and Alonso both winning goalscorers and man of the match. And both in my fantasy team Alongside chungy
August 21, 20178 yr Huddersfield have a look of us under Sam in the first season in the Premiership. Hopefully they will get enough points on rhe board early on.
