December 4, 201411 yr For those of us who can't be arsed fighting at the bar with people who have no idea how to queue for a drink on account of hundreds of numpties who never leave their house the rest of the year, has anyone got any recommendations for a meal out on New Years Eve? Anywhere in Leigh/Bolton/Htown and all points in between will do. Casa Nostra and Andiamo in Howfen and Daisy Hill are doing DJ & disco shite at £50 a pop so stuff like this is ruled out as well.
December 4, 201411 yr You are right! It really is the worse night of the year to go out in 'town' no matter where you are there are dickheads fucking everywhere.

December 4, 201411 yr Horwich RMI have a duo, a group with a girl lead (90s stuff i think) and DJ on for 15 quid. No meal but they do have a queuing system at the bar Edited December 4, 201411 yr by Gonk
December 4, 201411 yr I don't think I have been out on NYE for about 8 years. Last couple of years I have stayed in with a takeaway and watched Ant and Dec!
December 4, 201411 yr I think for the first time ever, we're staying in this year on NYE. We were going to come up to Bolton for it, but have now decided against.
December 4, 201411 yr hope its as good as last years and the summer barbecue i loved that trampoline Edited December 4, 201411 yr by Casino
December 4, 201411 yr Off to Dumfries for a week on Dc 27th. Hot tub and cottage. Town......fuck right off
December 4, 201411 yr Night in for us probably . Steak, wine and champers last year and a sleepless night due to a teething young en. Same again it looks like! Mrs wants to go to a night at Albert Hall in manc. Think it would cost about 8 times as much and be utterly shite.
December 4, 201411 yr Stayed in last year, ended up watching R Kelly's trapped in the closet, best NYE since being 16/17 and managing to get served in the bridge and fingering one of htown's finest at the time Edited December 4, 201411 yr by ZicoKelly

December 4, 201411 yr Last year, we started drinking at 2pm, knocked the wall down between my living room and dining room, got changed, went to the pub for an hour, came home, made a lovely tea, played and danced to music for a few hours, sat and watched telly, fell asleep, woke up just in time for Hogmany on the telly, got second wind, partied for two hours, went to bed. Was lovely. Honestly thinking of doing the same this year. That hour out, before it gets too busy, was most enjoyable.
December 4, 201411 yr Jules Holland and Mrs. Kerr have been my NYE companions for as long as I can remember. Going out at night jostling with tossers who haven't been out since last NYE, (but ALWAYS sit at that table/ stand there) can kiss my New Years arse.
December 4, 201411 yr Which wall is up for the chop this time?! It won't be the one to next door, that's for sure. Boring basts.
December 4, 201411 yr I might have a party and piss the neighbours off. Stuck up their own arses around here
