Mrs has just seen Horwich RMI have a band on called Sally Army.

Sure someone on here knows the drill there is it this 8 piece from Yorkshire?

Hardly any tickets remain anyway so will probably end up staying in!

They are from Yorkshire so I think it's a yes. There's also another duo on, and Phil Grimshaw DJ/ compere.

It's limited to 250 so no mad crush at the bar.

There are still a few tickets left, price is £15.

There have been sonme belters this last couple of weeks at the RMI - A Jersey Boys Tribute, and the Deadbeats party band.

I put on a red and white scarf and tell people I've come as a twat

Why the scarf ?

Why the scarf ?

Ouch!!

I've been doing this for about 8 years.  I managed a full 3 weeks last year.  I could probably quite easily do a full month, were it not for the fact that it's 4 of my mates birthdays in January.

It's also my birthday in January, if anybody wants to buy me a drink, I won't be abstaining.

Does this dryathlon require you to stop boozing at midnight on NYE then? I enjoy a new year knees up, and 3rd round weekend make it nigh on impossible for me to say no. I reckon I could squeeze a couple of weeks in at end of Feb and early March

Think just me and the Mrs are in. Watched the sally army medley on YouTube last night and was sold.

Just need the grandma to remember she offered to babysit and we're laughing!

I'd recommend one of Phil's parties to anyone, he can get a place rocking and the ladies dancing which makes for a good night. Top fella that man :)

Quiet night in. Early neet. Long days drinking ahead at the Perth Cup on 1st January.

Probably be 40 odd fucking degrees again but I will be behind the glass near the winning post enjoying the aircon, a nice 3 course meal and a civilised drink/bet.

Sounds fucking dreadful

Whilst double decker sound fantastic, what is a "vocal instrumental" duo?

is it a way of saying one sings and one plays, just not at the same time?

Its the Pheonix Club, Pull off to Paradise.
