May 3, 201610 yr I flew back from Lanzarote this morning, whether was a big dodgy but seemed to have brightened up as I was leavingAye they said it's not been as nice Bit cloudy at times but it's decent enough for me
May 3, 201610 yr My lad's going in July for 2 months, flights sound cheap, were they direct from Qatar Airways No, not direct, always book via skyscanner - cheaper. Think it was either Airexpress or Travel-trolley.
May 3, 201610 yr floating butlins im surprised the stinks of piss owd bastard can post pictures how did the sheep worrying in anglesey go at the weekend?
May 4, 201610 yr Ryanair, out sat at 17.30 back tues at 23.30 We decided to do the boat trip to the kornati islands as it was a nice day and didn't fancy 4 hours on a coach to get to the lakes, though they would no doubt have been a better overall destination Surprised you didn't do the lakes. Incredible place. Worth the coach journey. Itself - the journey has some great sights along the way. You have to climb up through the mountains. Did you find the street with the lively bars in Zadar? And the €1 slice pizzas?
May 4, 201610 yr 7 weeks till we go back to parga really looking forward to it. 1st time thought it was one of the best places I've been to . Find out in 7weeks I'm also a fan of Parga but I'm afraid, more often than not, when leaving Preveza airport we tend to go in the opposite direction and head to Lefkada, have you tried it? Edit In fact it's about 7 weeks til I go to Lefkada, we may well be on the same flight out Edited May 4, 201610 yr by Widnes Two Hats

Did you find the street with the lively bars in Zadar? And the €1 slice pizzas? We pretty much stayed on that street As it was the last and nicest day decided we'd just rather sit on a boat for a few hours rather than a coach but in hindsight should have done the lakes on the Monday or something
May 4, 201610 yr My lad's going in July for 2 months, flights sound cheap, were they direct from Qatar Airways? Flew with Qatar to Sri Lanka last month, excellent service. What did you think of Sri Lanka, Traf?
May 4, 201610 yr What did you think of Sri Lanka, Traf? Absolutely loved it. Barely scratched the surface it, mind.
May 4, 201610 yr Absolutely loved it. Barely scratched the surface it, mind. It is am amazing place. We went for our honeymoon nearly 14 years ago and hope to go back some day. The tea alone is worth going back for.

May 10, 201610 yr Just got back from Alaska.... Stroll on, it was alreet for a BBQ but the sight of dead bodies, burnt out cars, house torched and total silence knocked me out until,I saw a yokel wading it through it all on a tractor. It was only Farmer Geddon
May 12, 201610 yr Dreamliner - Premium Economy - worth the extra cost? Mate who works for them reckons "no". Anyone done it - or likewise, anyone done the Economy and thinks its more than good enough?
May 12, 201610 yr Dreamliner - Premium Economy - worth the extra cost? Mate who works for them reckons "no". Anyone done it - or likewise, anyone done the Economy and thinks its more than good enough? We have gone for the premium for our Florida trip next year. Mate of mine says it isn't really worth it as economy is very good and still has free drinks but we wanted to try it out anyway as a treat.
May 12, 201610 yr Thomson? If you are of average height the seat pitch is fine in economy. I believe that long haul you now get free alcohol as well (it used to be just a drink with your meal, everything else was pay bar) This removes the only other conceivable benefit of paying an extra hunded quid or so
May 12, 201610 yr Economy is fine on Dreamliner. Free drinks too, so the upgrade just gives you a slightly better seat and a better toilets to passenger ratio. Edited May 12, 201610 yr by Traf
May 12, 201610 yr I came back on a Dreamliner from LA in September with Norwegian Fantastic plane I was in economy and didn't have any issues Funnily enough I've just put a claim in for compensation as it was delayed for hours, turns out it landed 2hrs 52mins late so they were 8 minutes from having to pay out
May 12, 201610 yr Generally I can't see the point of business or whatever upgrade class. I'd rather spend on better things when I arrive Unless someone else is paying, but they haven't yet
May 12, 201610 yr Cost of upgrade is £386 each! FFS! Extra legroom is only £70 each. We've already got free lounge passes with Barclays bank. Reckon we know enough people at the airport to cadge a Fast Track security pass each. Champagne & chocolates are only about £30. And upgrading one case to 25kg is only £35. I think I've answered my own question!!!
May 12, 201610 yr Dreamliner - Premium Economy - worth the extra cost? Mate who works for them reckons "no". Anyone done it - or likewise, anyone done the Economy and thinks its more than good enough? Not worth it at all. Economy is fine. Even long haul it is less than half a day you spend on the plane. Paying hundreds to have a slightly nicer seat and a slightly bigger screen isn't worth it. Edited May 12, 201610 yr by bwfcfan5
