January 14, 201511 yr Looking into this, a few things I didn't know ( amongst many other things) Some Muslims don't like any image of the prophet Mohammed in any form , I was thinking it was the lampooning of him but some even kick off about medieval art depicting him being shown, and religious texts depicting him and have been since it was painted The Quran doesn't forbid his image being shown but some have interpreted that it is forbidden ( interpretation causes some shit) along with images of other prophets which include Jesus Some branch of Muslims don't care and wouldn't mind the painting type images as religious art Iran is full of images of him apparently as they don't care and it's the only Muslim country where this is widespread apparently I never knew South Park producers received death threats for having Mohammed in the cartoon years ago and so pulled and deleted the episode because of those threats, Apparently, I could have offended some Muslims with this post by not saying " peace be upon him" each time I said his name. I for the life of me can't see why a cartoon image of a man in a turban would cause murder. There was a seemingly otherwise normal polite bloke on Alan Beswick this morning, he was an iman from some mosque, even though he was well spoken and seemingly normal in every way, he did criticise the magazine for putting the image on the cover again today but, while I was listening anyway, didn't criticise the gunmen or say it was wrong to react like that, he didn't say it was right either like, but it struck me as odd he didn't add the caveat of " yes it's offensive to me but not worth killing over " or similar. Gave the impression he was saying the magazine could bring it on themselves, and while not supporting the actions of the nut cases can understand why they did it . Strange

Excellent read that Tony and backs up some of us on here who believe that there are serious undercurrents to this whole Islamic disaster and the multiculturalism experiments which certain simpletons or fearful types hope will just go away whilst they close their eyes and grip their security blankets. It is looking more and more likely that the day will come when they will be forced to get off the tit and decide just exactly which side they are on.

It is looking more and more likely that the day will come when they will be forced to get off the tit and decide just exactly which side they are on. we agree then that it's an excellent read, very informative, but I think we take 2 different messages from it, i.e. just what these sides are as it says in the article: "As poll after poll tells us, the vast majority of British Muslims reject radical views. They support a mixed, plural society." I believe i'm firmly "off the tit" and i see the sides as follows: non-muslims the vast marjoity of british muslims ----------------------------------------------------------- extremists willing to do something about it correct me if i'm wrong, but I think you, and others, see the line in the sand as being non-muslims ----------------------------------------------------------- muslims now, personally, there's nothing I can do to make the opposite side of my line go away other than be aware that there is that line, and allow those who do want to integrate do just that, and make my side of the line stronger so what are you doing now you've chose your side, whatever that might be, to work towards these situations not re-occuring or are you, as you say a "fearful types hope will just go away whilst they close their eyes and grip their security blankets" because if you're not doing anything other than saying the same thing other and other, it appears your in that bracket, to me i'm not fearful and i think my approach to this situation is constructive because as it says: "if social cohesion falls and divisions between Muslims and non-Muslims rise, that presents a longer-term risk to security" so what are you doing to attempt to improve the situation? if i've misread what i think about where your line is drawn, i apologise in advance, and it's certainly not a veiled pop at racism or something, but i genuinely want to know how you expect to proceed with all of this, now you've decided which side you're on if this makes me a bedwetter or an apologist so be it (and get fucked), i'm sure there's plenty we do agree on at the end of the day

Problem is, is not a war when one side will surrender after defeat, these men are off the scale, not afraid of dying themselves, believing they will get 100 virgins when they die, weird, but we all have different beliefs in life.
