People have and do. Christianity, In general, seems to live much better with those who don't have a God of any kind. I'm not sure it's us non believers who need to be more tolerant of religion per se, I, and I presume many others, have no tolerance for societal regression which Islam is responsible for trying to bring to the Western/modern world. We are not perfect in our world but things we have grown to expect as normal, the biggest being equality and free will must not be lost.

Therefore they have to accept that in countries where they aren't in the majority it is a part of free speech to be able to do and say things that might be against their beliefs.
