no balls
If people stop "breeding", as you delightfully put it, how many businesses go bust? you've missed my point entirely. there's clearly more than enough as shown with the surge for school places so why should there still be an incentive/benefit given to breeders to keep doing it? That was why it was started after all.
bgoefc
GP's concurring with parents that their child is hyperactive, prescribing them Ritalin for which parents get an extra £60 per child per week. . If that is 100% correct then thats fucking diabolical.

Traf
If that is 100% correct then thats fucking diabolical. First I've heard of it. Ritalin is generally considered last resort. Jnr is on Melatonin instead

frankietheman
I don't know how widespread the practice is beyond that particular school but in my book it comes within the remit of clinical malpractice and child abuse.

Not in Bolton I hasten to add. So the parents get £60 per week per kid as well as the free prescription for the Ritalin? Just curious as there are many genuine cases were it should be administered but then there are also many where little Johnny wont behave simply because his body is stuffed full of e numbers from his diet of ready meals, pizza, crisps, sweets, chocolate, cola and microchips. mickbrown
is that true about the 60 notes for having a kid on Ritalin? Can't find any info on that anywhere
frankietheman
So I'm told. Parents get enhanced benefits if their child is diagnosed hyper and prescribed Ritalin to manage said hyperactivity. I'll check again when she gets back later this afternoon.
Traf
I'm guessing here, based on my own personal experiences, but perhaps the child officially has ADHD and that money is the DLA money and not for having a certain medication?
frankietheman
You may be right but I was told that the benefit was incumbent on the child being prescribed Ritalin and that several parents had exploited this. The result being that the kids were nearly comatose in class. I recollect being amazed when I heard it, but i,ll recheck this later.
Smiffs
People get paid for having kids with ADHD? Shit me. Fair enough for those with severe issues who require constant care and attention, what about those who just need a slap, a break from the E numbers, or perhaps a stable home environment and who are showing signs of ADHD but in actual fact they're just a little cunt? Smiffs
Do they have to undergo properly conducted medical examination or will a doctors note to Waynetta suffice?
no balls
What sort of cut do the car showrooms get from these motobility schemes? My mother went to a garage a little while ago & walked out as they weren't interested but she noted they were keeping the couple getting one on motobility happy enough. I told her it was her own fault fif looking at a Ford but still.
