Casino Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 freedman has definitely had the latest laugh today note latest not last i think hes inherited a set of players on wages way higher than our set of misfits and i reckon hes going to do well something to consider, if we can all be grown up, is that maybe freedman knew his set of players werent up to going toe to toe with some teams in this league he was definitely too hung up on the other lot. mind i've loved the mix it, nose to nose attitude of lennon, but maybe against the better teams there does need to be some consideration of the opposition half of todays team would not have played under freedman, so lennon has made his mark on us, and today we got twatted im massively more confident we'll be successful under lennon, but today has shown the gap between forest and us the three teams who come down should be streets in front of forest! at least us shipping 4 a week will put all this talk of him walking for a prem job to bed Quote
RONNIE PHILLIPS Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Got to admit I didn't think we would have got as bad as we are at mo under Lenny but it's still early days & we are a dank sight higher in the league than we would be if Freedman was still here.. keep the faith people, its always darkest just before the dawn. Sweep Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 at least us shipping 4 a week will put all this talk of him walking for a prem job to bed I thought that earlier, nobody will be wanting to touch Lennon for a while yet based on our recentset of results. This suits us, as I reckon given a full pre-season and being allowed to bring in who he wants will see him do well for us Quote

COYW Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I thought that earlier, nobody will be wanting to touch Lennon for a while yet based on our recentset of results. I doubt anyone makes decisions based on a few results... oh hang on, isn't that how we ended up with Dougie? Quote
Smiley Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Some contradictions on here. Great results against shit teams. Shit results against good teams But he'll be fine with a full pre season and transfer funds (that are non existent) I think Mr Lennon needs to start prioritising his role as our manager and not media darling - rent-a-comment for Sky, etc. Sorry but Freedman would've have been crucified for letting the players train in Spain and then perform like that today. nottinghamtrotter Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 All things said, each of the 4 goals was shocking individual mistakes. We gifted every single goal to them with either slips, poor headers or not tackling. No formation can take account of that. Plus Mills should be made to walk home. Don't understand why every single defender we put out is having a nightmare at the moment. Mjalby needs to get it sorted quickly.... Quote
L/H White Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Heskey for that 4th  How far away was he with that header, comical Quote
RONNIE PHILLIPS Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Sorry Cas but whilst I understand what you are saying & agree mostly, the way we are shipping goals is becoming ridiculous, certainly while we have competent full backs who are not getting a game at the moment. The injury situation is beyond belief & Mills needs a good fucking for his stupidity today but we need experienced heads at the back now. Quote
Guest Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I don't care about Lennon doing media work. I do care that he's picking players out of position and today so horribly out of position that it left us wide open. If Mcnaughton doesn't get a start at right back on Tuesday then serious questions need to be asked. Quote

fishbulb Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Dreadful - on a par with Stoke at Wembley. 6 hour round trip. Absolute shambles on the pitch. And some dickhead setting a smoke bomb off in front of us. Tea - riffic. The chap in the Orange coat had some issues. Some bloke with a kid seemed to be trying to manufacture a confrontation with the scarily butch female copper on his way out. Why did Fat Frank get turfed? Quote
L/H White Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Bolton's NL " If I had 10 Liam Feeney's I'd be fine but I don't, the rest are wishy washy Le Fondre and Clough are exceptions as well" Quote

Bit harsh that. Remember where we were when he took over? It was atrocious today though admittedly. Quote
burnden Posted February 21, 2015 Author Posted February 21, 2015 Bit harsh that. Remember where we were when he took over? It was atrocious today though admittedly. A couple of places below where we are now. Shambles today start to finish. On a positive note Lonergans CT scan went well and he is ok. Quote
RONNIE PHILLIPS Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Bit harsh that. Remember where we were when he took over? It was atrocious today though admittedly. Eggsfuckingzackerley!!....I'd got to the stage under Freedman where I didn't care if I never saw another game, I was close to self harming even when we won! Under Lenny going to the game is a joy again & for that he has my thanks & a great deal of time, understanding & patience whilst he sorts out the shite the jock fucker left him to deal with. Oh & for anyone who is going overboard about a few dodgy results ask yourself one question....where do you think Zach Clough would be now if the deluded one was still here? Quote
Spider Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 All this simply emphasises just what an utter genius Lennon is. Even though we all love him, he's still managing to give the moaners plenty of stuff to get their teeth into, which they adore doing. Meanwhile, the blindly optimistic are still bathing in the glow of the new appointment. Win win. I've never known this forum to have such contentment amongst the members. He's just amazing. Quote
