Firstly because it will take up most of the traditional Christmas bullshit season so we'll all be talking about football and not festivities. Secondly just for the novelty factor. And thirdly because we can see whether or not our well worn excuse about our players being tired stands up to scrutiny.

The Saudi league is all about high pace athleticism like Morocco so I'm not sure he'd get in the team. Al Hilal is basically the national team that beat Argentina so signing for Al Nassr would be a desperate move to try to end Al Hilal's dominance. And he couldn't hack that.
