The event promises to showcase the best of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender)-friendly arts, music and community theatre, as well as a market day, club night and awards ceremony

 

 

I wonder what the awards ceremony will all be about.

 

In all fairness, I reckon it'll be a cracking 3 days, loads of entertainment about. People say that more should happen in Bolton, well this is certainly a positive step forward. Hopefully they'll be getting local businesses and schools involved in what should be a great occassion. It would be great if the Muslim community got involved as well, but I really can't see that happening

After reading that I am now half expecting a love Bolton, hate homos march to accompany it.

 

Or a love Bolton, love fadge (no dykes) march for the sake of 'equality'.

The pink pound shouldn't be ignored.

 

Local businesses supporting this event will make plenty off the back of it.

If I was running a business in Bolton, I'd be very interested in getting involved in sponsorship, who wouldn't?

Just don't push back or enjoy it and I'm sure you will be ok

I'm ever so glad that I will now have the opportunity to show how proud I am of my sexuality. I will be inviting my friend Bolty over from Australia, he sadly felt he had to leave the town in the 1970's due to the abuse he used to get. He will be delighted. Hopefully we will soon be able to openly show that we are still humans and not people who should be hidden away of feared

I hope the lovely colourful decorated floats should be driven up and down Derby Street because they love nothing more than a procession up there, perhaps going into mosque explaining the benefits of expression and finding ones self.
