It's certainly a gamble, at the figures quoted they would need to be adding around 60K extra bums on seats, over the course of the season, in order to break even on the deal  -  now that's only an extra 3000 people per game, so it's achievable for a club like them I suppose

My Norwich fan work colleagues reckon he's OK at this level - nothing spectacular, just OK.

A defender / defensive midfielder will not get you promoted but a 20+ goals a season striker could give you a chance.  Not all come off but at £2m its not going to put them at risk given their crowds to try and win £100m+

It is isn't it. Having said that, maybe it wouldn't be such a bad thing to go down for a season. We'd be winning most weeks, and there are some cracking away days.
