I'm afraid you have to deliberately be getting the wrong end of the stick or mentally ill to think those cartoons are taking the piss out of the boy. All this is is people who are glad the offices got attakced and the cartoonists murdered but couldn't say so at the time looking for any reason to say so in a very underhand fashion now.

I'll also restate that I believe that should be the case because the "majority" (over 90%) are fit active young men both at the borders of Greece, Italy, Hungary and Calais. Most of these are not fleeing from Syria or Libya but places like Turkey, Nigeria and even Pakistan.

 

Some of their behaviour on the way over also suggests that these are not your "grateful" fellows, but are arriving with with strong views on religion and a huge sense of entitlement.

 

So if keeping out 10% of genuine in need helps to slow down the inexorable creep of Islam in the West then yes I am for it, as taking them in will only encourage all their mates to make the journey next year.

 

And a final question to you, If in theory you gave these so called refugees a clear choice that to come here they would have to drop their belief systems and accept western values and dress codes, do you believe they would still want to come?

Go to the refugee camps all around the Syrian border and take in 20,000 who can be properly vetted and then taken in as deserving causes.

As for Western values; I kinda agree. This Shia law bollocks should be banned here for a start rather than a blind eye turned to it
