davidjack
We're 40/1 with William Hill to win it next season - joint third worst! Preston 25/1. Christ. Have the bookies taken a good look at our finances? Or lack thereof.

davidjack
Let's hope they're as wrong as when they made us favourites and second and third favourites in our first couple of seasons down here.
Blondi
£1 win double on us at 40/1 and Newcastle at 2500/1 to win Premier. Oh fook it, I'm not wasting a quid!
Site Supporter Alf Hartigan Posted May 25, 2015 Site Supporter Share Posted May 25, 2015 Burnley were favs for relegation season before, just saying like
snowball
Wigan were among favs for promotion last time as well.
barry cowdrill
On Skybet we are second favourites for the drop behind Rotherham
Guest Blixa
The bookies are never wrong Last year had Fulham and Cardiff nailed on. Bournemouth not in the frame. As also said, Burnley went up with odds more suited to going down. Much depends on ins and outs in the next couple of months and a good start. Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted May 25, 2015 Site Supporter Share Posted May 25, 2015 I don't care 1 jot what odds we are. I'm confident we'll do ok next season - half way or so but I don't think we'll struggle
snowball
shows how far our stock has fallen though. Was reading my 'BWFC Complete Record' last night. Had forgotten that after we got relegated the second time from Prem (on goal difference) we went Play Off Final, Play Offs, Play off final and back up. No descent into also rans like this time, but we had a decent manager then with a long term strategy. Now we are more like when we were relegated from the top flight in 1980. Then we went 18th in Div 2, 19th, 22nd and relegated then best part of decade outside top 2 divisions. Could it happen again, I really hope not. birch-chorley
Bet 365 have us 8th favorite to get promoted at 11/2 Ahead of Brentford, Fulham, Forrest & Cardiff
Traf
Bet 365 have us 8th favorite to get promoted at 11/2 Ahead of Brentford, Fulham, Forrest & Cardiff I'd say we were as likely to succeed as those four.

Take Hunt Off
Bookies are slightly vunerable pre season from a lumped on fans bet , say Burnley two years ago 33-1 on paddypower then.Obviously not my choice but I know a dingle who made the bet (50 sobs ew)

SoberDan
Think we will show them all wrong next season, love nothing more then the bookies writing is off, they have done so so so many times before and we nearly always prove them wrong. SoberDan
numerous occasions in my time, little Bolton were always tipped to be relegated yet we not only stayed up but finished in the top half on several occasions, it was when people started taking us seriously that things started going pear shaped. Mounts Kipper
Anyone backing Bolton for promotion needs to give there heads a wobble the funding isnt there the desire from the club isnt there were just in it to make the numbers up at the moment we need a massive change and some investment to get the the club on the front foot sadly its not looking likely but as supporters we all live in the hope that something good might happen.
