MancWanderer Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Looking forward to this Pats/Jags game Pats will stroll it I reckon Shit version of the Star Spangled Banner at the beginning but always gets me how the Yanks love their National Anthem Quote
Escobarp Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Jags are very good. Bortles should Make mistakes although I think he’s got a huge run from nowhere in him tonight. Going to be tight Quote
maaarsh Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Pats defence appears to be every bit as bad as their stats this year would suggest. How on earth Chung still makes the bottom of a roster, let alone starting a Conference championship game is beyond me. Quote
birch-chorley Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 I think Jacksonville will win this! Quote
Escobarp Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 How is that boring? AFC is in my opinion better than the nfc this year and these two teams are better than what is left in the nfc. Simple as that Quote
maaarsh Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 How is that boring? AFC is in my opinion better than the nfc this year and these two teams are better than what is left in the nfc. Simple as that It's boring because your posts seem to be either Brady hero worship, or insults/backhanded compliments to other teams. Jacksonville are a good team but nothing special - they're a very good defense and a functional offense, which is pretty much what the 2 teams in the NFC are (both with better defenses than the Jags). It may make your feel better to assume that only the overall winners could possibly beat Tom, but it's not the case; the Vikings would be favourites against the Jags if that is the match up - better on both sides of the ball. Casino Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 It's grim That last touchdown run goes more than 2 yards against a rugby union pack and theyd be off to league before the night was out Quote
MancWanderer Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Jag-waaars looking good. Very good in fact Quote
Escobarp Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Not at all. I believe Brady is the best quarterback there’s been. Opinion. I bring this out when people criticise that’s a I would also ask you to reread my posts. Very complimentary about a number of teams I think you will find. I dislike no nfl side such is my passion for the sport as a whole. Some are pretty meh teams Jacksonville as a team done really do much for me. But if s non entity always have been which makes what they’re doing even more astonishing. But they’re doing it because they’re a very good side in my opinion. And your points are your opinion that you believe the jags aren’t that special. To go to Pittsburgh and New England (if they win) and beat both on the road is a remarkable effort and the sign of a very good team As such I believe this is a compliment to Jacksonville and not a dig I’ve said for weeks without wentz philly I don’t believe can win it. I stand by it. Maybe I shall be proven wrong. Minnesota are a very strong if unspectacular side. Like your view of Jacksonville I think they are good but nothing special I also don’t base my views on simply stats but from watching the game. Stats are always skewed due to difficulty of their respective schedules. Quote
maaarsh Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Wowza. If they can get some points here it's going to be set up for one of Tom's better come-backs. No sign of Pats offense after the scripted first series but bound to get something going eventually. Quote
MancWanderer Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Vikings win the superbowl for me If it’s against the Jags yes. Against the Pats no Quote
maaarsh Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Given the way the NFC dominated the AFC in match-ups this year, it's a bit of a stretch to claim NFC teams had easier schedules. You're absolutely entitled to your opinions, and few are going to argue Brady is the greatest ever, but frankly your opinions on the AFC>NFC this year are pretty hard to support beyond your own gut feeling. maaarsh Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Pats will be looking for a dodgy doctor to sign off Gronk PDQ. Bedtime for me, long week ahead - they should play these games during the day! Quote
Escobarp Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 But it’s my opinion that’s the whole point Time will tell who comes out on top between the two in due course though. Quote
Spider Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 It's grim That last touchdown run goes more than 2 yards against a rugby union pack and theyd be off to league before the night was out ???????????? Quote
Escobarp Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Gronk gone that’s now fatal I reckon. Can’t see them winning this without him sadly. Quote
MancWanderer Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Could be. But still wouldn’t put anything past Brady Quote
frank_spencer Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Brady being Brady there, just so dependable leading a drive. Nothing flashy just keeps the chains moving Quote
