Took me a while to properly understand it ie what each players role was. Can totally understand why some folk wouldn’t enjoy it. Rugby Union, particularly at international level, bores the life out of me but I wouldn’t criticise anyone for enjoying it Quote

Even then - not to put shit on RL - always acknowledged it as a tough game for super fit and hard men. Just not a game that sparks any interest for me. The game we are discussing in this thread I played for 3.5 years, hence my "pretending to be interested". For those who don't like the game, the latest edition of the Rose Bowl would be a prime example of what you are missing. Had everything. Class, drama, record setting all over the place. Would you jump on to a championship team once the four playoff places were known? The answer is no then. Badgers in College Football for me and Packers in the NFL. Still enjoy a rollicking good game though as the Rose Bowl was. I am sure you would have enjoyed watching the recent Arsenal-Liverpool 3-3 draw?
