Why is it folk who don't get anything have to try to pour shit on it?

Just lobbing one of your infamous hand grenades Bolty old pal! ;-)

Got into the NFL when Channel 4 first started showing highlights all those years ago. Took me a while to properly understand it ie what each players role was. Can totally understand why some folk wouldn’t enjoy it. Rugby Union, particularly at international level, bores the life out of me but I wouldn’t criticise anyone for enjoying it

Georgia struggling to cope here with the sooner offence. Baker mayfield is going to be some addition to the nfl. Sad thing is he’s going to end up at Cleveland possibly. Would love to see him at the giants.

Bit like you and the rugby league thread

Not been into that thread for a very long time as far as I can remember and that was only to joust with two dearly departed posters with whom I had extra curricular (i.e. not on WWays) discussions with on the subject.

Even then - not to put shit on RL - always acknowledged it as a tough game for super fit and hard men. Just not a game that sparks any interest for me.  The game we are discussing in this thread I played for 3.5 years, hence my "pretending to be interested".

Unless you can show me otherwise it would only have been extolling the virtues of the far superior RU. In short then, fuck off  ;)

My pushing of "Next Unread Topic" link brings me here. I don't voluntarily read it.

Fair enough Micky. Absolutely everyone's right to like/dislike anything at all.

OK I can go to bed now.

Might take a while for my nerves to settle down.

Sony Michel and Nick Chubb are phenomenal players.

For those who don't like the game, the latest edition of the Rose Bowl would be a prime example of what you are missing.

Had everything. Class, drama, record setting all over the place. Absolutely brilliant game from start to finish. Sugar Bowl was an anti-climax after that.

Hope your Bulldogs win it Frank.

Phenomenal game. Agree Chubb and michel are both machines as well. Very impressive

Hopefully they can win as I detest bama but I’m not sure.

I’ve just got up after staying upto watch it.

Is it ok to switch to a playoff team if your team doesn't make them?

#firethosecannons

Would it happen in RL?  Would you jump on to a championship team once the four playoff places were known?

The answer is no then. Badgers in College Football for me and Packers in the NFL. Still enjoy a rollicking good game though as the Rose Bowl was. I am sure you would have enjoyed watching the recent Arsenal-Liverpool 3-3 draw?

I do have a soft spot for  the Auburn Tigers but only because I once attended a game there. War Eagle.
