So .....

Brady.

Keenum.

Foles.

Bortles.

The 4 championship QB's. As we all predicted at the start of the season.

the 2 NFC QB's weren't even the 1st choice at the start of the season.

Another reason the NFL is so unpredictable

Can only see a Pats championship now.

Holding out hope for a Jags v Vikings superbowl though. Got a soft spot for the vikings and I couldn't handle seeing Brady and Bill win yet another title

Tough one for me if this comes to pass. No love for the Viqueens for obvious reasons (only the Bears rate lower for Packer fans in that division) and who, other than Escobarp, their local population and Noraid collectors could like those dodgy Patriots?

Would want the Viqueens I suppose but hoping for a Jags v Eagles SB.

A superb night of entertainment.

Just incredible.

Spot on. Those were two brilliant games.

Being biased as an ex-MLB, loved the pass interceptions by the Viqueens - especially by Andrew Sendejo:-

That's good news.

Whether Todd Haley will be back alongside him is up for debate. Even though it was the defence that couldn't stop the Jags, the bulk of the blame seems to be pointed at the OC

Looks like I was right nfl.Com are reporting that Haley will be gone next year.

You will support the manyoo of the NFL its your own fault.

Fair point I just don’t see it myself. Folk are more obsessed with them than what’s happening with their own teams

I think for most people it's a case of if their team is shit then hoping for something bad to happen to the Pats is the next best thing.

This time of season folk become ABP

Go read the terrace talk thread it's even worse for that

You don't see they brought this on themselves with their dodgy behaviour (unnecessary when you have the talent they have)?

I have dozens of Packer fan friends and and associates over there, a Bears fan (we don't talk about him - worked in Packer territory for years and we tolerate him), a couple of Dolphins fans and a Falcons fan.

Believe me, what is said on here about the Pats is like kindergarten by comparison!

Brady and the Pats flat-out fucking cheated to win the biggest prize available.

They clearly influence officials and everyone knows Manyoo had that as a large part of their on field strategy under the whisky sodden sweaty.

Don’t be surprised when people pour scorn and accuse you of being a glory hunting drone like the worst kind of London manyoo supportig type.

This with big bells on. Nothing else bothers me about them but this is the one reason why I dislike them and Brady. He’s a cheat and they are cheats. End of

We all do things in life to gain an advantage. Get over it.

They won and are arguably by far the best team in the game at present whilst Brady is there. Success sucks

Posted

Not worth getting into a row about it mate

If you are a Pats fan, fair enough you'll take their success

I don't like them. I used to. But they and Brady are tainted. Badly. And always will be

I don't dislike them because of their success per se. I'm a Redskins fan. If the Cowboys won the next ten Superbowls fair and square it would stick in the craw, but I'd accept it. Much as I do with Man U. I don't buy all this shite about influencing officials, etc

But the Pats cheated. I would just accept that there are a lot of people like me who dislike them because of that. Blatant and flagrant cheating

They are the best in the league without doubt so enjoy it and don't rise to the haters like me!!!

at the end of the day, most of us randomly picked a team, cept Bolty and probably Escobarp (who has been to games in the US) and I doubt they became his team last season

there can't be any accusations of glory hunting, Frank supports the team with the 2nd most number of SB wins, and probably the most when he first picked them

and for all Tom Brady's talents, his Mrs looks like a bloke

Seeing the Ben and other Steelers on WWE was what swayed me over to the black and gold side over other teams.

Got into it after watching highlights on ESPN news whilst fighting jet lag on our honeymoon in 09.

Picking a team usually has some random pointless reasons behind it.

When I was a kid my dad used to bring me home some college team merch from where ever he went working stateside. Had stuff from Iowa Hawkeyes, Alabama, Nebraska and Wisconsin amongst others. But my visit to Atlanta helped me become a Georgia supporter.

Over 30 years I’ve followed them now. Go to at least one patriots game a season and usually a tampa and giants game (missus supports them) also as a minimum.

Would like to do all the nfl grounds before I depart the earth ideally. Highly unlikely I would say though.
