So, for someone who lives in the dark ages like myself - I don't have a play station or xbox or any of these types of consoles, if I spent around £100 and have broadband at home, I could basically tell Sky to do one and save a few hundred quid a year, I wouldn't miss any live sky games 9if I wanted to watch them) and the Mrs would get Game of Thrones?

In all seriousness, for once, I always recommend these things for films and box sets, the sports is very hit and miss and you do have to do quite a bit of messing around

Download Xbmc /Kodi , easy enough . Download Mobdro , then Showbox on to a PC Laptop Tablet or Android phone .

 

Buy a Chromecast from Argos if you dont have the latest all singing and dancing smart tv or if a pauper like me stream to the xbox one ,xbox 360 will do then watch anything youl like through your tv .oh yeah forgot to say you can mini HDMI most tablets straight to tv .

 

Thats it any channel football show film or porn you can think of is there and it costs nowt just need internet .

 

In my opinion the mx box are great but all you need is a cheap tablet or your no longer needed older android phone mirror the phone and contents to tv and bobs your uncle

If you want something without the hassle that running Kodi can bring, just get a zgemma box with a 12 month gift off ebay. It is a direct replacement for sky and if you plug in a HDD in the back it will record too. No fucking about and all the channels are the same as sky (402 is SS1, 603 is Boomerang, etc)

I'm getting one of these fire dish kodi thingys. Fucked sky sports off now. The bill crept up to £32 a month just for sports. I watch any Sunday games in pub and midweeks in gym. They can fuckin ram it the cunts.

If you search on ebay for the member windowshopping1976 you can see his items for sale. I went with his box and gift for 125 quid even though it isn't the cheapest way to go but as I knew fook all about them beforehand I went with an easier option.
