Good managers need a good striker. Irrespective of any of his other bargain basement signings he has not been able to get one in. why is that? Lack of proper money. I bet he would trade all those crappy signings for one decent striker. The idea that all the teams above us have genuine quality strikers is nonsense. Lennon hasn't used limited resources well. When you have little you must maximise it as good managers will. Lennon isn't very good.

Nottingham Forest have the manager we sacked because he got relegation standard results with our players. Perhaps Freedman is still the same manager but Nottingham Forest have better players than Bolton did?And Lennon has been having to shop in a cheaper market than Freedman had the luxury of doing.

I've no doubt Lennon will make a decent manager at the top level, but he needs to be able to get the EXACT players he wants to play how he wants. There's no plan B. He cannot change his tactics to suit the players that he has at his disposal - exactly the same as Freedman. I see him as a slightly more talented Freedman.
