Here is the final section of Hilary Benn’s speech, which was greeted by (a very unusual) round of applause in the chamber.   Mr Speaker, I hope the House will bear with me if I direct my closing rem

If you think Beckford having a laugh on leaving the pitch after a defeat is acceptable then you are coming from a very different place then I expect most of us on here are.

A place of sanity pehaps?

I remember the debate at the time.

Same spoon defended Spearing after he travelled to Ibiza 4 weeks into season and took recreational drugs and drank high volumes of champagne.

I never defended the use of recreational drugs, to be clear, but what a young man gets up to on his time off is entirely up to him. If the club felt it was inappropriate then it's up to them to deal with it.

Careful lads he'll shoot you.

The 22 No's..... Would this have been different immediately after the Paris attacks or the same regardless?

Eh? Surely a 'no' now would have been a 'no' then. I can understand why you might think a 'no' then would become a 'yes' now, but not the other way round.

I'm going to vote now.

Edit: I think I misunderstood what you were asking.

Poorly judged?

The comment that got the laugh was when an mp observed that the speaker (John bercow) had been sat down without toilet breaks etc for 11 hours constant and joked that he deserved an award.

Yeah, poorly judged. I couldn't give a Chinese shite if he needed the loo.

Dont get me wrong, Im all for the bombing and especially the Typhoons having a bit after all this time. But its not a laugh.

On facebook, there is an Asian news group, there is details of all the Muslim Mp's who didn't vote against military action (four out of twelve). Read the comments and its quite terrifying including one or two where people have said "Allah will destroy these people"....

I worry about the amount of grief these 4 (one of who abstained) have gotten from the Muslim community for having the audacity to have an opinion.

It's only because social media is full of absolute twats that only post polarised opinions on stuff.

No one posts "I can see the benefits from both sides of the argument" as it won't get any likes.

You're right, it's not - but watching someone squirm, needing a piss, for 11 hours is funny as fuck.

He wasn't squirming, that's the thing, as leader of the house he felt that involved that he didn't falter throughout as he could have called a break at any time, and an MP felt he needed recognition for that.

To be fair if you took seriously the posts most of us put on here, 90 percent of us would be in broadmoor by now drinking soup through a straw.

Most people are balloons behind a keyboard.

The Speaker is the Speaker, indepenendent of Government.

Leader of the House is a completely different post as the Minister who, for example, gives notice each Thursday of the business of the House for the following week.

You knew what I meant though :p

Craig Wallace, Craig Fucking Wallace? You're British, you live in one of the most democratic free countries in the world and you decide to follow a backward cult which frowns on criticism of their Stone Age views. I can only think he's got mental health issues or he can't get a bird

Man charged after "malicious" Facebook messages sent to MP

What's the over/under on him being a Rusty ?

This stabbing bloke is a Somali and a Munich.

His brother reckons he's a mentalist.
