Salford Trotter Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 “He was put under pressure” hardly complimenting him is itThat was prior to issuing the statement not after. He shouldn't have to be pressured into doing the right thing he should just do it Quote
royal white Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 That was prior to issuing the statement not after. Salford Trotter Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 (edited) Ahh right so the press hating Trump say he was put under pressure to make a statement so he did! Cool storyIt wasn't the press that made it up, it was his colleagues that said that he should do it. As i said earlier Mitchell McConnell was instrumental along with the public. The press can't make that up Edited August 28, 2018 by Salford Trotter Quote

royal white Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 So you’re just going off the press haha brilliant It’s crazy how Trump can 1 minute be a self centred Knob that only cares about himself yet the next minute he’s bowing down to pressure off someone he employs (well if you believe the press) Quote
tyldesley_white Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 He doesn't employ McConnell, the American people do that Quote

So you think he didn't bow to pressure when he sided with Putin rather than his own agencies in Helsinki, the guy has form or sorry he misspoke... Embarrassing. royal white Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 Ok you show me some evidence of how Mitch pressured Trump to come out with a statment and I will believe you. Not from a Trump hating paper, something like a tv or radio interview. Then I will believe you Quote

Not from a Trump hating paper, something like a tv or radio interview. Then I will believe you it was the whole country, his Republican Party, The Vets, The Lawmakers that pressurised him not just Mitch McConnell and as an ex-army man I am sure you would want to recognise a fellow serviceman. Trumps biggest supporters Fox News says as much "his closest advisors" were instrumental in pressurising Trump into making a fuller statement recognising McCain's contribution to his country watch from 9 minutes in Quote
jayjayoghani Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 that's probably the sort of thing I imagine he'd go out of his way to do apparently he didn't like McCain much and vice versa, you seen the video of him refusing to answer questions about him? funny if you can avert your eyes from Melania's rack https://mobile.twitter.com/Alyssa_Milano/status/1034155242294632448 Quote

He was asked numerous times about JM but ignored them, he had already made a statement why would he want to keep talking about someone the whole country knew he didn’t get on with? Not quite sure what my service has to do with anything Quote

kent_white Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 Let's not forget what John Mccain had to say about the Trump/Putin summit just a couple of weeks ago.... “Today’s press conference in Helsinki was one of the most disgraceful performances by an American president in memory. The damage inflicted by President Trump’s naivete, egotism, false equivalence, and sympathy for autocrats is difficult to calculate. But it is clear that the summit in Helsinki was a tragic mistake. “President Trump proved not only unable, but unwilling to stand up to Putin. He and Putin seemed to be speaking from the same script as the president made a conscious choice to defend a tyrant against the fair questions of a free press, and to grant Putin an uncontested platform to spew propaganda and lies to the world. “It is tempting to describe the press conference as a pathetic rout — as an illustration of the perils of under-preparation and inexperience. But these were not the errant tweets of a novice politician. These were the deliberate choices of a president who seems determined to realize his delusions of a warm relationship with Putin’s regime without any regard for the true nature of his rule, his violent disregard for the sovereignty of his neighbors, his complicity in the slaughter of the Syrian people, his violation of international treaties, and his assault on democratic institutions throughout the world. “Coming close on the heels of President Trump’s bombastic and erratic conduct towards our closest friends and allies in Brussels and Britain, today’s press conference marks a recent low point in the history of the American presidency. That the president was attended in Helsinki by a team of competent and patriotic advisers makes his blunders and capitulations all the more painful and inexplicable. “No prior president has ever abased himself more abjectly before a tyrant. Not only did President Trump fail to speak the truth about an adversary; but speaking for America to the world, our president failed to defend all that makes us who we are — a republic of free people dedicated to the cause of liberty at home and abroad. American presidents must be the champions of that cause if it is to succeed. Americans are waiting and hoping for President Trump to embrace that sacred responsibility. One can only hope they are not waiting totally in vain.” Quote

bolty58 Posted August 29, 2018 Posted August 29, 2018 You spelt legend wrong Wasting your time mate. Their minds were made up for them by Hollywood celebrities and various left leaners immediately after the election. He will never get any credit for any good he does - only shit for anything they can possibly dredge up from his past. If he gets a second term, it would be a miracle and he should be lauded if he does in the face of the endless flak from some of the disgusting scumbags lined up against him. Quote

kent_white Posted August 29, 2018 Posted August 29, 2018 Some sad folk about, like someone said the other day he could find a cure for cancer and people would still ridicule him. They really wouldn't. But the chances of a man who can't colour in his own flag properly finding the answer to a problem which has eluded the minds of some of the finest scientific luminaries since cancer was discovered is somewhat of a long shot.
